This be ~enigmatia talking now. This reminds me a lot of the Lion King intro, ahahaha.
uhhhm i thought the effects worked pretty good, like the light from behind.

okay, so far, "washed by blood" is my most detailed picy..

i went and had a look^^
if its detail you want, you look at real life things like a watch for example, and take notice of the shapes that make up each of the parts of the watch [or whatever you're lookin' at]or for people [or aliens XD] you design interesting outfits or also, like with objects, you break things into shapes at first then add more things like collar bones etc [like i saw in your pic, well done^^] also, use your own body or look at real people for reference.
