Anime Gems always seem to learn more of the weird family of Tasha. Especially when Perry's concerned. So it was no surprise that when the group sees another peridot, Perry recognizes him and hugs him. He returns the hug and is chill. Turns out that this peridot is a Irk grown one called Zim and is the Apatite's, Saiki's and Tasha's uncle.

Zim the Peridot's themes:

Zim is a Peridot that was grown on the planet Irk, home of the alien species the Irkens. Zim was suppose to come out like a normal G1 Periot but due to the conditions of Irk as well as the Irkenite gems in the crust, Zim came out the size of a earth child or the size of the species. Zim was discovered by the previous leader of the planet, the almighty tallest Miyuki and she was so fascinated with him that she personally took him in and taught him the way of Irk. but the only 2 beings that knew he was not Irken was Red and Purple and they hated him. Why? They know he is a gem.

Since his upbringing, Zim aided the Irk empire despite that he would sometimes mess up things. But Miyuki would dismiss it as happy accidents that her gem smeet would learn from and learn he did. Sadly, this mother son like relationship would come to a end as Miyuki somehow contracted a deadly disease from a space exploration and within a month, died from it. The control brains assigned Red and Purple as the new tallest and began the plan Operation Impending Doom. Since Zim was raised to respect the tallest, he was excited to prove himself to the new almighty tallests by revealing a new invention for them called the Megadoomer, complete with clocking device. But rather praise, Zim was given animosity from the new tallests. They accepted the Megadoomer and the blueprints but after that, they banished Zim to a planet called Foodcourtia so they would never see him again. But to Zim, Banishment means a mission so he accepted. But when he arrived and stayed there for 30 years, it was tourment. Sizz-Lorr the fry lord was horrible, the food's greasy stench was too much for Zim and the customers kept poking his gem and were rude. So when the great foodening lessen down, Zim fled the planet in a voot cruiser and headed back to Irk only to learn that the tallest are on the armada ship, the Massive.

Once he arrived, Zim raced to the briefing room ready to please his tallests. Red and Purple were not happy especially when they learned that Zim perceived Banishment as a mission. He was giddy to make new plans for the empire especially with weapons but the tallests had enough. Red was the one to break the new as he said:

'YOU ARE NOT A IRKEN! You are a filthy little gem that was disgustedly grown on our wonderful planet of Irk. We had to endure listening to Miyuki coo over you and praised on the designs you made. Sure they helped the empire but you will never fit in or be accepted cause you are a filthy gem! NOW GET OFF OUR SHIP, LEAVE US ALONE AND NEVER COME BACK YOU FILTHY GEM!!'

Zim was dishearten and more so when Purple added;

'And if we ever see you near Irk or any of our soldiers, we'll shatter you like glass!'

Zim screamed in sorrow and anguish as he left the massive, took the Voot Cruiser he stole and fled from the Massive. This revelation caused Zim to have a identity crisis and a mental breakdown. So he went to the one planet that no Irken wouldn't go; Earth. There he would find out who he is and fix himself up.

Zim's gem is located on his back. He can create mechanical spider legs from his gem as a means to move quicker. He doesn't have a summon weapon but he does have Ferrokinesis like his sister Peridot who he met on Earth after arriving and learning who he is.

GIR is a overcooked/defective Chalcedony made during the regime of Yellow Diamond back on Homeworld. He was made to be a standard soldier for the chalcedonies but he came out wrong. First off, he was a complete under idiot who chooses or not to follow direct orders, a complete danger to those around him and of course his predictable mood swings as one moment he's a uncooperative idiot, then the next moment, he is destroying his fellow soldiers. Because of this, he was deemed defective and was flung out to space in hopes that we would be shattered. Well he didn't.

Instead, he was discovered by Zim the Peridot on his way to Earth many years later and by discovered, I mean got splatted on the window of Zim's voot cruisier nearly causing him to crash. Course, Zim pulled him in and scolded him. GIR then told Zim of what happened and taking pity on the gem, took him in and thus a partnership was formed, a partnership that Zim would regret but not too much. Once arriving to Earth, GIR took in the pleasures of greasy earth foods like pizzas and burgers as well as various cartoon shows and toys with a rubber piggy being his personal fav. Basically put, GIR is like a son/brother to Zim, a very unpredictable one.

GIR's gem is on his chest. His summon weapons varies to missles, to metal claws and anything he can off but because he's an idiot, he doesn't know how to use them or his powers unless his red eye side is in control.
