Original drawing made in 2010. My old high school friend Mariah gave me my first commission for a portrait of her, her mother and sisters
This year I decided to revamp it with my now better skills lol. Since drawing photo-realistically would be extremely time-consuming (and also uncreative) I wanted to add a graphic element to it by outlining the features. In 2010 my skills were not quite enough to capture realism, so portraits tended to hit the uncanny valley and look creepy, haha!!
