Description
First time trying cell-shading as opposed to blended/air-brushy shading.Kankuro modifies his puppets, lol.
I guess I was having one of those artist blocks, cause I couldnt think of a background...
I didn't have room for Black ant, this was originally drawn on normal print paper, and I wasnt aware then how to shrink the lines..oh well too late.

You should draw a better version with ALL the puppets including Sasori -Squees- I still cant belive Kankuro, who is the BEST puppet master EVER, uses that retard Sasori.

You forgot the Ant. That and some of the weapons in Crow just seem kinda out of place, ya know? I think Salamander should have been more of the picture but the poor guy never really got anywhere fight wise or popularity wise anyways so i dont blame you.

I didnt forget Black ant. I mentioned in the description that I didnt have enough room..partially because I did this picture on a document the size of a normal peice of paper, and I didnt think there was a way to change the size of the paper. I basically just need to add a background...but yes, I think black ant wouldve accompanied the picture well....
I know the weapons on Crow may not fit completely, but I just wanted it to look like just a big weopon/ torture device, so I put in random things.
But other than that..thank you for the critique

Alright, sorry that i missed your mention, i guess i must of skimmed over it or something. When you do fix it, maybe you could do something with Salamander, he's my favorite and is very under appreciated. Plus since nobody really knows what he does, you can whip out random things for him like the gun you had on him before

Hey, no problem! I think Salamander's cool! Infact, I'm almost done with another picture of Kankuro, This one actually has black ant in it, And Salamander..whom I made very deadly, no Crow this time xD
Dont feel like Salamander is underappreciated...Kankuro is basically an underappreciated character. But He only got to show his puppets for a short amount of time, and Salamander was seen during most of those times. I think that when they show Kankuro again, we'll see more of what Salamander can do.

I need to show this to my cousin. She will love this to death. How did you get the patience to draw those puppets, that's insane! And don't worry about it looking too bloody, it looks great. It brings out what torture devices those puppets really are XD
I'm totally with you on background creativity though...I never know what to draw. The reason any of my drawings has a background is because my sister forces me to draw one

Oh, well it took me a while, I sketched alot of it in my notebook a while ago, then when I scanned it to my computer I just went over the lines.
I had to completely add in the Salamander puppet though, which actually didnt take me too long. I basically just moved my pen across my tablet real fast and just hoped I'd get a nice smooth and accurate line ( interesting, right? 
I hope the background I finallly managed to come up with for this one turns out well, if not..I dont know what I'll do

So yeah, this piece still looks awesome, and your right it has changed quite a lot since I saw it in your notebook.
Meh, backgrounds are always hard...especially when you have others that have the kind of background you may have used.
So I was thinking for your next Kankuro picture you should have Kankuro with his puppets in the land of the snow...I think it would be sort of neat to see Kankuro in snow...=3 I actually had a dream of kankuro in snow and he was complaining about how cold it was compared to the desert lol.

*Squeal*!! You had a dream about Kankuro!? OmgSH! ME TOO!, a couple days ago, he was actually with his sibs. Naruto, Kakashi, Sakura Sasuke, and Haku! were also in it. Man...it was freaken weird. The sand ninja were wearing these robes that were covering their whole body, so they looked super badass, yet Gaara got most of the screen time in that dream lol, and it was actually in THIS world not the naruto world, and the setting was near where I used to live...creepy.
Naruto and his team was training with Kakashi, and they had these cool new powers..something related to the powers used in Devil May Cry 4..(my favorite game) O.O Oh, and Haku was actually a transexual and he/she got kidnapped by this bandit dude. It was like in the middle of the night, and the dream was showing alot of the Sky for some reason, and their were like billions of stars (yeah, the sky was VERY disinct. Alot of the action revolved around the sky)

i must give you a lot of credit though, Because unlike you...I can't draw backgounds like....ever...I read that yuu watase has the same problem and often uses LOTS AND LOTS of refrences.

So yeah, That's one awesome dream...hmmm...you always seem to have these really awesome dreams..I wish I could have more dreams like that and the one I had...those are the dreams I enjoy, rather the boring ones of me walking around in a forest until random things happen.

Heh, I look at pictures, then eventually some background idea is formed in my head. It' s like I need to see some one else's creativity in order for mine to be stimulated...( something like that
Heehee, I love my dreams! Sometimes I dream everynight for a few weeks, then it stops for a while. They always involve some cartoon character I know or a real life random person I might know..sometimes a person I've seen yet never talked too. The settings are always the coolest part, and then the plot which is always something kinda freaky, like the Earth is gonna be destroyed or something, or I get trapped in some scary place. who know's these dream may fortell the future...
Well that Kankuro in the land of Snow pic is something to put in my list of drawings I plan on doing! and I'll give you credit my friend!
