Certainly my most favorite drawing thus far. Took way too long though, I have crippling perfectionist syndrome it would seem.All freehand, same with all my other drawings.

To answer your question...uhhhh, I don't even know anymore, haha, I've long since moved on. But lemme try to recall:
The all black wardrobe, the puppet fighting style is really cool and unique, and...pretty awesomely gruesome, I also think he's an underappreciated character, so I tried to make people see how I see his awesomeness....and then the rest is just irrational.

I love this! To be honest, I haven't seen too many Kankuro drawings without the other sand siblings (haven't looked enough I guess *shrugs*). But thus far, this is my favorite! The colors are nice and very complimentary.

I like it. You made him seem so much more sinister. I've never viewed Kankuro as a major character. It's nothing personal and I think his puppets rock. He's grown since the chunin exams, just like all the other characters.

Hi, I absolutly love your work! I've commented before on this very same deviant (remember,"I LOVE that creepy-charise-cat-scary-sarcastic-crazy-awhole-lot-of-other-words smile) but I shut down that acount, so now I'm back! I love your kankuro smiles! LOOK AT THAT. It just reminds me why I love him so much. It like a crazy-cat-haha-i-beat-you-insane-creepy-sexy-crooked smile. I can't even really describe it! Just keep making that smile.
BTW, is it werid that I'm obbessed with his smile? It's not the only reason I like him (there are too many) but it was the first thing a that got me intrested. That and his mysterious badassness.
