Dear Princess Celestia,

The victim was last seen alive and dozing by Applejack near Sweet Apple Acres.

At moment of death, Sleepy was seen spasming and shouting incoherently, which drew the attention of the Apples.

The Apples reported seeing a suspicious pony sporting a labcoat and goggles cantering off after abandoning a syringe near scene of crime. (An artists' rendition of the pony in question is included below)

The syringe contained trace amounts of caffeine which is consistent with the autopsy report. The cause of death was determined to be by heart attack via caffeine overdose.
