King and Hammy did not add to the concoction of emotions that formed as the command was passed to the hoard of drifters. King never liked getting involved with humans or their domestics. Stealing from them could be fun, but it also very well may be more trouble that it's worth. He had already begun to imagine their army of stays attacking the pets, armed with tooth and nail, and their human counterparts with traps, poisons, sharp metals, even guns. It was a risk he wasn't compelled to take, though, perhaps with the help of his daft companion, he could do just enough to avoid a trashing from the higher ups.

Hammy quietly sat atop his friend as he watch their grungy surroundings. He didn't understand the point of this place, or why all these other dogs decided to be here as well, but as the group's murmurs turned to gasps of shock and awe, Hammy felt a confident "HAM-HAM!" was a reasonable response for whatever was going on. As the monarchs approached the stage, Hammy recognized the white dog and whisper yet another 'Ham-Ham'. The red one began to speak, and the crowd seemed entranced by his words, but the little mongrel couldn't figure out what he was saying. He kept using big words like 'exterminate', and 'the', and the poor little guy was completely at a loss. He decided to just imitate his menacing friend so he wouldn't embarrass himself by reacting incorrectly.
