Description
This mother Dove simply amazes me, I would like to tell you why.You see we have had terrible weather all spring and about five weeks ago I noticed this Dove had made a nest in my back yard and had decided to lay her eggs there. Well shortly after that the weather turned for the worst and down came the snow and rain.
As the weeks went by I noticed that the dove was still siting on her eggs even as the snow around her continued to fall and slowly surround her. Surely I thought that there was no way her eggs were alive and I also thought maybe she was just not yet willing to except her loss.
She sure proved me wrong.

Yeah, sorry. First I had no time to be on DA and some health-probs, then our router just died on sunday as well so I only got back today.

Thank you very much Donna and yes I do believe she has some trust in me.
I've been feeding her and her friends all throughout the long winter.

It is so nice when you gain the trust of a wild creature through their choice.....Better stock up for next winter, as you will have a new generation of friend's to help through...
