I used a freeze frame of the scene where Leela enters the chatroom to show a friend how tall Leela actually was.

She's not short, but she's not too tall, she's slightly shorter than Fry - when Fry is standing fully upright and not slouching!

I'm still chuckling about the Professor saying she wore a size 12 boot...no wonder she has problems finding a shoe. It is interesting drawing her in a realistic way...I've had fun doing it.

My wife is on the other end of the spectrum...she stands 4' 10", and wears about a size 6. We had a friend that stood 6'4" and she wore a men's 11 shoe. Yeah, they seem to just want to make clothing for "perfectly average" size people.
