This was a drive by in-the-car shot.I was absolutely amazed by how it turned out. I didn't edit it or anything.
Possibly one of my favorite shots ever.

It's not so much for protection (though that's an added benefit) but just a way of saying "Hey I did this". I think it shows some pride in your work when you put your name on it.
