Description
My first published action (updated 6/1/18). This action contains two variations; one is black reference lines on white background and the second is white reference lines on a neutral gray background. Use whichever one works best with your drawing style.

Black on White - This creates a black line reference on a white background with a 50% opacity applied for ease of drawing. you can adjust the amount of opacity as needed.

White on Gray - This is an easier style to work with since the reference image does not compete with your rough sketch. This is the prefered method of drawing on top of reference art as it keeps things easy to see.

Both actions leave the original reference photo intact and both give access to the smart filters.

Once your rough sketch is done simply change the Rough Sketch layer's blend mode from 'Multiply' to 'Normal' and continue your digital painting process.
