An attempt to use scratchboard to create my favorite Disney villain for Halloween 2011!

The texture of the scratching is terrific. The watercolors add a more thorough layer of menace to the figure.

OMG! This guy scared the hell out of me (no pun intended) when I first saw Fantasia as a kid. I remember having to cover my eyes during the Night On Bald Mountain sequence, and even then I needed someone to cover my ears just because the music itself could conjure up such scary imagery. This is definitely one of my favorite Disney villains and you've captured his image perfectly. In fact, I'd say your picture is a tad bit more scary with all the jagged lines and slightly uneven blending of colors (that's not a negative, put away that shotgun!). I'm happy to say that you've succeeded in capturing the devil himself on paper. Even Walt Disney would be proud.

Awsome! In my opinion, chernabog is the MOST powerful and evil disney villan alive. Did you know that walt disney himself said that chernabog is satan himself (or something like that. look in wiki for further details).
