haha yeah when I tell people I am a digital artist but still use a PC & not a Mac I get weird looks too.. same as PSP vs PS.

Hehe what's so funny about people giving you strange looks is that the more I work on art, I realize the less important are the materials one uses. I mean, this one artist on youtube.com makes amazing pieces of work out of cheese puffs and bbq sauce!

i know! i have Photoshop (a friend gave it to me as well as PSP9) but i just dont get it! its so much harder than PSP....

First thing on my computer wish list is a good stand alone scanner. I love my printer and don't want to part with it.
Annnnnyway. Really looking forward to the club! The APO club really helped me grasp Apophysis, and while I'm much more familiar with my PSP7 there's a ton of things I want to learn / improve on. I need to dive into some tutorial links!

I never did get to use PSP9 D: I thought X was good considering the only other version I've used was 7, but... I guess it isn't? Do you know of any place I can still get 9?

I'm not sure... Amazon might have some left over or try eBay? X is ok if you never used 8 or 9 but there are a few very useful features they did away with... trying too hard to turn it into Photoshop when it was just fine as it was.

I didn't think there even was a club for it XD It's not so popular with the people I hang around, so I might have figured it was that way in general XD but that was probably dumb of me XP I'll be sure to check it out :3

I tried Corel and hated it so much that I did not touch digital until I tried PSP4 a couple of years later. Upgraded right through and thought X might be OK... very wrong. How can these bastards fuck up something so badly? Even the patches to repair the mess don't work properly. Perhaps Deviants could club together and buy it back.
