This is a fantastic idea, very cute and useful! I have a same USB key so I know how fragile it feels.
On the other hand... This may prove fatal to the data on the USB once you create a static charge in that WOOLEN sleeve. Please let me know if you have considered that possibility!

Thank you I haven't thought about the static charge, though I didn't use woolen yarn. Anyway, I have been using it for six months now, not every day, but frequent enough and the USB works just fine
