Description
Taake, named after a character in a Pinoy folklore/myth in southern Philippines...considering that this one is one of my first characters that popped out in my mindf^(\< bu||$#!+try almost a decade ago, I realize that I... somehow created him to be my personal psychological punching bag
I recommend guys to watch this (accidentally ate a drug that allows you to see Death himself) Bu||$#!+!!!
>>> [link] <<<
Upon sacrificing a lot of his personal side and cutting all the ties that he finds as a burden in avenging those who died for the single person that he hated in his naive days and to fulfill the "ever-haunting" mandate that was that was on halt for 9 years, which had him questioned for fighting the dead men's cause... blah blah blah gahh... whatever, its a whole lot of em... plus that giant arcane machine that seem to have special ties to him
anyway.. hes a nice person and doesn't kill people who really deserve to die, he only cripples them by shooting them in the joints...
I DON"T KNOW WHAT TO PICK! I WORKED THIS ONE LAST NIGHT ON A LCD SCREEN, AND UPLOADED THIS ON A REGULAR MONITOR. I'M A BIT UPSET WITH THE RESULT OR THE MONITOR WAS JUST TOO DARK

I choose most of the lighting to be coming from the back. I don't know... but it kinda gives a hint that he came from above or something ( at least thats what I think )
thanks!

what a great sense of motion! Would have liked to see a little more detail on the gun since it's so close the viewer but a really really good pic. Well done!

thats good. getting a good angel can make or break the image and make a simple image look very impressive... unforntunatly though crumbled papers are bad to te enviroment and too much of it causes a dirty room

Some sweet stuff yet again, as I said with your Sniper pic I can't but feel the Sin City feel with it again

hehe.. Thanks! somehow I was influenced on Miller's ( and on this one : miller + ghostintheshell to be exact)
"gallons-of-ink-per-page" on sin city comics or even in dar knight. Although I didn't read or see any Hard-boiled themed stuffs, I always add some bit of Noir-ish elements on my work; I guess thats my kinda taste for a piece. But seriously I was really influenced by the works of this guy when it comes to really dark (dunno the exact word to describe his awesome works ) [link]
other than that, it's fun for me not to imitate the whole thing and just mix up stuffs you like

Agreed on the imitation part, though I didn't see the Ghost in the Shell influence til you mentioned it but they're both great influences all the same
