Continuing with my art dump. This time around I'm uploading a sketch of Nero's home as well as some of the village. I am trying to take inspiration from old Japanese villages while also tossing my own imagination into it, but...these buildings remind me of the architecture from Naruto. Oh well, just gotta keep experimenting.
Nero's home is composed of two stories. The bottom floor isn't used for much aside from storage. The upstairs doubles as a living and bedroom and is stocked with all kinds of soft things. The wind chimes are something that the family likes to make together using colorful glass shards. Their paws can't work with string though so they have other, more capable beasts handle that. They chimes don't really make much in terms of noise, but they do reflect colorful light.
The front door has a tarp over it with a family symbol to serve as an address.
The village is encircled by a massive castle named Rashoka that doubles as a wall and serves as the home for all hunters. Rooms line the castle's walls so hunters see the village first thing every morning, a constant reminder of what they're protecting.
