Just thought I'd upload this for anyone curious
It was really annoying me that you lost the puppy against Poe because they're both quite dark, so I tweaked it and recoloured the puppy for the other side, and replaced the show/main image with a newer version so you can hopefully see all the animals better.
This is the original version, so you can see what I first had. The edited version has now been put on the original upload here:
As a point of curiosity for me - do you guys have a preference? I think the poses here look more natural, but from an artistic/viewing perspective, the tweaked one seems better...?
Anyway, that's all this is ^^

I think that I actually like the layout of the show image... just because of puppy and Poe's coloration, I feel like I can see puppy more easily there. But then, as someone else mentioned, it looks like she is telling Poe a secret in this one (which is priceless too). So there are pro's/con's both ways. But either one you choose, I adore them both to be honest!
Lordy I love your ability to draw the most soft, gorgeous backgrounds with lighting.

Same thoughts here; pros and cons to both 
And the backgrounds really are just some experimenting with colours and brushes. This was all a basic airbrush and very soft round brush, using two shades of yellow on the green background. I may have one layer set to overlay, but that just warmed up the hue a little. Backgrounds are a challenge for me, and I still do some awful ones, so its all just a case of experimenting

Hmmm, I may have to play around with some simpler background styles. This just adds so much without distracting from the image itself. Of coarse, that implies I find time to draw to practice backgrounds. 
But your experimentation definitely paid off on this.
I'm also a huge fan of the airbrush tool. In fact, I need to start using something else. I swear I could do an entire image (and quite often do) with just that brush.
As for the animals, I would love to see some adorable kittens at Lakewood. Your story did a great job bringing in quite a few of the fun critters on the farm... I really enjoyed that. It's great you've got so many there. Makes me want a friend or two for Bear. But then I realize I should probably find time to draw a few more pics of him before I commit to anything else.
Oh, and then there are the pending Peafowl too. I haven't forgotten them... Ciara will def go shopping with Chess at a poultry fair. The farm is definitely interested in a set of those beauties. We'll just put that on the "in-the future list." Somewhere after the Rue/Vanny RP. LOL. Lordy, I have to stop typing... the more I type, the more "to-do" things I remember.

I know what that's like XD. Of course, if you just want to wind down, you could always use a picture of Keira or Bear or another character you've already done and put them on an empty canvas, so you can just explore with the background. That's assuming you keep your PSDs with all the layers.
And I don't know how you'd feel about it, but we could also try a collab type thing when I have some time. Maybe if we find a mini show open, I could draw Poe and Keira (for example) and then give you the psd so you can just have fun with a background. I think I've said it before, too, but if you ever want to throw a link to something my way for some tips or thoughts (not that I'm an expert) you're welcome to do that, too ^^.

Right, stopping now, because that went on XD. And I know how you feel - I keep rememebering things I have to do when I start, and now that Bug's on the mend, I have to get started on it all

I do keep my PSD layers. And have wanted to do some simple full body pics of a few of my characters without any backgrounds in particular. So I may just do that (background experimentation) when I get around to it. It's a great idea.
And we will def have to do a collab with the girls... background experimentation or not. Oh, we should tots do that with our fawnling girls... since we do have a RP on them started anyways. Hahaha, how do these projects build up so quickly? 
You are right, the animals at the farm don't need to be "active." I could keep a few around for occasional mention. I think maybe I'll let Bear and Keira grow up just a tad (they'll be 1 year olds in Sept), and then maybe bring in something else too. Sorta like letting all your puppies settle down, before adding more fun to the chaos.

I think some people did (most, even), but my mum said she was kinda lost, and it was a thought that had occured to me and I just thought I'd experiment with another way of placing them
And the good thing now I've uploaded both is that you can just look at the version you prefer XD

that's for sure. Also because you just moved the puppy you can just say that poe was not paying attention to puppy so she moved to the other position, then poe paid attention.
