Description
This sketch was inspired by the song 'DEMONS', for I thought it just applied to my character really well
About the picture (in this case sketch)
As usual, by now, these characters are Fred and Fabrizio, and before I even write anything about the sketch let me just mention that they are really special to me, so I hope you like them too. Anyway, Frederic (blond on the left for those who aren't familiar with them) is usually a very happy, cheerful and kind person, whereas Fab is usually cold and doesn't bother to talk to people nor have any contact with them. Still, Fred sometimes just breaks down, thinking of all bad things he's seen or been through, or even just as a result of bottling things up for too long (which he did/does a lot seeing as I do picture him to have struggled with depression or anything similar in the past, since I personally know how it feels and I can see that be applied to him), and he doesn't really need anything, he just needs to sit there and let it all out, and just like when he was a kid he just needs someone, anybody, to just be there for him.
He actually isn't used to cry neither, seeing as he is just way better at hiding things, in fear of bothering whoever he'd love to talk to; he's much of a listener and less of a talker, which is obviously a quality, but a flaw for any of those people who keep quiet and suffer inside for whatever reason. Still, back to the general topic, Fabrizio usually would fake to act cold towards him, despite the fact of them being a couple, especially in public, however, knowing of Fred's "demons" he surely doesn't like to let the chance of hear him out slip out of his hands.
Either way, I really relate to Fred, and this sketch only took me 20 minutes, so I thought 'why not'.

Irina would stop and turn to stare at him in disbelief, "...You think..?"

He would say, "I doubt it, like the rest of your kids he will never come back. Irina, trust me if you let him go it will be the end of it and you won't have to lay eyes on him again and finally be happy, who cares what he does with his life? The important thing is that you are to be free of him forever."

She would think about it, "...I do care about what he does with his life, he cause so much stress, of course I want him to be unhappy...I just.... I don't know..."

He would say, "Well he knows you'll never love him...that's more than enough."

She would shake her head, "Not enough compared to death. Why would it be enough that I hate him anyway?"

He would say, "Because while you love Nikolaj, Fred knows he'll never get it from you."

Irina would almost snap, "Well too bad he is not Nikolaj then! His fault for being different..."

And he would say, "Then let him go, so we can finally be free of that brat Irina. Don't do anything that'll put you behind bars or be executed."

She would think about it and sigh, "I just...I cannot stand the fact that he will be around happy and free, I cannot stand it....."

He would say, "Well he'll be far away by then." and he would walk away.
And he will start thinking of a plan to finally have Fred leave.

And Irina wouldn't be aware and she'd just be mad and snap a bit, grabbing a plate and slamming it on the floor out of frustration, because after all she would never really just want to let him go, she'd really want to kill him or at least hurt him fairly bad.

Oh man if her mom was there there would be a major fight. After Irina is killed by Ivan's dad I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

There would be the greatest of fight if her mom was there, especially if she had heard Irina threatening her husband about how much she really wished to kill Fred and not just leave him alone.

Yep, Irina's mom would be angry because of how her daughter has become a monster and harmed her kids and hurt Grigorij, and would be sad and wonder how her daughter became the monster she is today.

She'd definitely think about that, and she wouldn't accept it, because she just wouldn't be able to understand how her caring and yet careless kid could turn into something which is basically evil.

Yeah, especially when she stabbed her own husband and blamed her youngest child for the destruction of the family when it was all her fault.

Exactly, her mother would be so mad that she'd think that Irina is acting, to one extent. If they were to face each other, she'd laugh and think Irina is being so extremely evil that there is no way she could humanly be like that.

Yep, she would believe that it was a demon who looked like her daughter.

Indeed, and she woukd admit it to her if they could speak, she'd tell her it'd be impossible for the same person to be like she used to and the turn into what she became.

Yeah, her mom would be like, "There is no way that you are my daughter. She may have been rebellious and have done some bad things in her life, but she would NEVER do any of the atrocious things YOU have done to anyone, especially to her own husband and children. Now who are you and what have you done to my child? To my Irina."

And Irina would glare at her, "YOUR Irina? She is right here. In fronr of you. That nice little girl is gone, this is what time has done to me. Time and those kids who simply torture me..."

She would glare back, "TORTURE you!? Dear, that would be the other way around, everyday those poor children go through Hell because of the horrible things you've done. You nearly jeopardized their lives as well as their well being and sanity along with their futures. The torture you are experiencing is from your own lack of common sense and your own selfishness! All the things that have happened were entirely your own fault!"

Irina would laugh and glare again, "Listen to yourself! Those POOR children! They are not poor children! Heck, they are monsters! They deserved evey bit of what I did to them! They ruined MY life and theirs won't have to be any better! And you better get ready for your grandson's funeral because that little brat will not be alive much longer if he dares leave me!"

Irina's mom would slap her to the ground and hiss, "I don't think so! They are not the monsters! You are, they struggled to survive because you take no responsibility for your actions and because of this you ruined your marriage and family! And Fred will leave and well because that Β Fabrizio kid will save him! As far as I'm concerned Irina, you have lost your family, I don't know what happened to you that made you become like this, but I don't care anymore! If I had known you would become this monster I would have never given birth to you, and Grigorij and your children would of been spared from your tyranny!"

Irina would be shocked and then she'd push her away, "How DARE you come here in my house and act as if you know what's best for m or my kids?! As if you know what amazing children they are! Well they are not! And my God my youngest has been around your house far enough, didn't you SEE how bad he is?! Nikolaj changed for the worst too, what was I supposed to do?! Those kids were all horrible! And if Fred tries to leave I will kill him bare handed, I swear! He is NOT supposed to leave or find happiness, for that matter! And allow me to tell you, that other foreign kid? He is just like ME. I can see it in his eyes, it will not last at all!" and then she'd be a bit more angry, "Wait... you KNEW about that brat? You KNEW Fred was seeing someone?!"

Her mom would grab her by her hair, "Don't make up lies to make yourself feel better! Fredrick is not horrible and you're saying that because you don't want to face the reality of what a horrible woman you are! And Nikolaj changed because of how you treated him and the fact that you made a mockery of his love's death and the fact that she was pregnant, he was mourning for the death of the woman he loved and the child he lost before it was even born! And Dasha is a better mother than you'll EVER be! And if you do something to Fredrick I will kill you myself, daughter or not! And yes he told me before he told the others."

Irina would glare and push her back again, "They aren't lies! He IS a horrible child, he ruined everything! And if it weren't enough, he looks like Grigorij, isn't that too much already?! And I am supposed to say he's nice and a good kid!? I doubt it! And Nikolaj wasn't supposed to change! It was his responsibility to take care of that girl and he didn't, that's all I have told him!" she'd look at her in dibelief, "What are you taking HIS side?! He is MY child, but you should be sticking with your own, which is me! And WHY would he tell you?!"

Her mother would glare, "You are saying that because Β you wanted someone to blame for Grigorij leaving, and you picked Fred because he was a child who couldn't defend himself and the fact that he looked like his father. But other than that, if Fredrick wasn't around you would of blamed either Nikolaj or your other kids! Β YOU were the one who stabbed Grigorij that night, YOU were the one who left him with no choice but to file for divorce! And Nikolaj didn't know she would end up in that horrible accident, he couldn't prevent it and you told him it was his fault so he wouldn't find love again so he won't have another woman in his life and you would have him to yourself!" Her mother would glare, "Why would I stick by a child who harms her own children for her own sick pleasure, and he told me because I'm the one who has been a mother to him for all these years!"

Irina would gkare at her dangeruously, "I am NOT! I am blaming him because he IS the one to blame! Ever since he was born my life was ruined! Everything Grigorij and I built together was falling and crumbling apart! And no, he knew! He knew he deserved every bit of punishment I threw at him! He never cried and never ever came up to you, telling you I was 'abusing' him! You came here talking to me about it because Dad saw marks on him once, otherwise it'd be unknown to you!and that is not the point, I did what i had to do, Grigorij and the kids had their own faukts and responsibilities and and that applies to Nikolaj! I didn't want him.so much in my life, I was making sure he wouldn't get another woman in irder to avoid his suffering again!" And she'd grab her by her shoulders, "You are NOT his mother! If only you were you would KNOW how hateful that child is! He told you to manipulate you, to play the victim like he ALWAYS does! Getting pity from everyone!"

She would hiss, "He NEVER deserved it! And the reason everything fell apart was because you started getting out of control and Grigorij had to work extra hours to get you help! And when you quit ballet that's when everything crumbled, Fred was just your scapegoat! Fred never complained because he respected you as his mother when you never deserved anything from your children! And no! You wanted Nikolaj all to yourself because you can't stand the fact that your first born will move on with a family of his own and you would be all alone, and Katjusha's death provided you with that opportunity!" She would glare at Irina, "Like you did when you were his age?"

Irina would glare in hatred at her, "Shut up! He ALWAYS did! He was the reason why I lost everything and why Grigorij left, HE CAUSED IT ALL! He never complained because he knew how responsible he was fr those actions and he must admit it! Those children need to respect me just because I had to deal with them for so long! No OTHER parent would have, I know that much!" and she'd glare back, "...Don't you dare..never ONCE had I played the poor victim as he has, mom, NEVER!"

She would slap her, "You NEVER deserved to be respected by them because you never acted like a mother, and Grigorij left because you almost killed him! He never wanted your marriage to end but you have been violent with everyone in your family! If anything those kids need to be made kings and queens of Russia for having to deal with a demon mother!" and she would glare harder, "You never played the victim but neither did Fredrick because he never told anyone what happened. But you are everything you said Fredrick is, a demon. When you were young you got in trouble with the law and nearly got yourself killed and out our family in danger because of your reckless behavior, and you practically slept with every man in Saint Petersburg, you were not only a horrible child but also a absolute whore."

Irina would push her back and glare," I did NOT almost kill him! Granted yes, I had a knife on my hands, so what? I wasn't pointing it AT him NOR did i stab him with it intentionally, he just made a fuss out of a fight! And WHAT?! Kings and Queens? You know what? Complete crap! They could pick up a phone and talk to people if they had it -so bad- at home! If your so -sweet- youngest grandchild just showed his sister a bigger mark,she could've have brought him to an institute or wherever! But it didn't happen because they all knew things were UNDER CONTROL, Mom!" And Irona would glare harder back, "He is a demon just like I am! I slept with a few men but so what? You didn't have to care, I was young and I had fun! And then Grigorij came along, what could ask for as a better change for you poor, slutty child? A nice, smart kid with nice grades and good intentions and all! You didn't do to much to hel0 us out! You just thought he was gonna make things work,in my life!"

She would be mad, "The knife still went into his side! He still bled and the knife was in YOUR hand, his blood was on your hands and it was because of that Grigorij left you! And tehy couldn't get Fredrick out themselves because they knew you would kill them!" She would be mad, "You degraded yourself to perverted men who never cared about you and could of killed you! Being young doesn't excuse everything you did to this family! And when Grigorij came along I was happy because you started to change for the better and started to mature more and realized the things you've done were inexcusable and became a better person, and I helped you in ever step of the way so don't you dare blame me for things that have happened, Irina!"

Irina would shout, "It went in his side because HE approached me while I was holding it! He knew I had it! He could see me! And if really did care about us OR his kids, a small stab wouldn't scare him! After all, wouldn't he want to protect his children from me or whatever? Shut up! I wouldn't kill them!" And she'd glare back again, "These men had lust for me, they wouldn't kill me! They all gave me anything I wanted! And really? You were happy cos Grigorij made me change?so why are you here yelling at me now if I had 'changed' for the better, huh?! If Grigorij was SO amazing to do that!"

She would be mad, "It wasn't a small stab! Grigorij almost died that night! And wanted to protect his children but you made it clear if he were to try to take them you would of had your friends kill them all! And if you threatened to kill Fredrick, I gaurantee you would of done the same thing to Grigorij, so either way you would of lost him Β from either killing him or making him leave!" she'd slap Irina, "You became a monster! Before you became a decent human being when you married him and had Nikolaj, but you became a demon from that night when you tried to kill Grigorij! If I had known that this is what you would've become, i would of NEVER had given birth to you!"

Irina would glare, "He didn't almost die! He was overdoing it! And I told him i'd get rid of the kids to keep him away, he woukd have told my children bad things as he raised them! He would have been worse than me!" And she'd push her back, "i was no angel and no demon! I was a great mind and everything fell apart because of that last brat! I would have NEVER stabbed Grigorij if it weren't for him! And fine! See how much i care about what you would have done!"

She would hiss, "Grigorij would never talk badly about you in front of the kids! He loved you too much and if they ended up hating it was your own fault! Fredrick is not to blame, only yourself!" She would say, "If I were to start over again, your brother would of been an only child, and Grigorij would of had a better future, and your children would of never had suffered. But the damage is already done....besides it won't be long now."

Irina would hiss and glare, "Of course he would! He always talked to them all behind my back! Why would Nikolaj have such a drastic change if he hadn't?! And of course that kid is to blame he just made me go crazy! It's because of him that I changed! He made ME unhappy!" And she'd glare, "Oh really now? Well, I don't care! I don't care if you regret having me, I have nothing to regret. I did everything right!"

She would glare again,"Nikolaj changed because he saw your true nature and wanted nothing to do with you anymore. And if anyone is going crazy it's Fredrick because of having you as a mother, you made yourself unhappy when you became insecure when Grigorij worked late hours and you took it out on Fredrick because eh was the youngest and couldn't defend himself. You changed yourself," She would say, "No, you never did anything right, you made your children hate you and turned your family against you. All of them are leaving Saint Petersburg and are never coming back....ever.:

Irina would glare at her again, "I did NOT change myself! They did nothing but make me insane, and you know what? You're right! Maybe I was wrong to blame Frederic alone, it was everyone's fault if I turned to be like this! Grigorij had his faults, and same with Nikolaj or anyone else!" She'd look really angry, "Oh, yeah! Let them try! Let them.try to leave! If I 'broke' them as much as you've accused me, then no matter where they go, they'll never be far enough from me! Ans they freaking asked for it!"

She would hiss, "How dare you Irina! You have caused enough damage to this family and yet you are willing to hurt your children even more by forcing them to stay here so you can torture them! You are pathetic!" And she hit Irina more.

Irin would push her away, "Accuse me of anything similar again and I'll make sure to treat you the same way I treated Grigorij years ago! I am not scared of digging a knife in you!"
