Hi there!
I saw this wonderful photograph of yours a long time ago and, let me be honest, it mystified me from the start. Since there was an opportunity to write a critique about this deviation, I thought I really should try this again. (I haven't done this too often, so here goes...)
First of all, what really fascinates me about this picture is the impressionistic atmosphere. The lovely and mysterious pastel shades of purple and lavender mix so nicely with the deep green grass and the dim light red the sun gives to the sky. What adds to the sensation of mystery is the bank of fog in the distance. It makes you wonder if something ominous might be lurking there.
Nature shots about trees and rivers are pretty common, but this picture definitely stands out from most for the use of the golden ratio and its emotional setting. A wise man once told me that there are no perfect pictures, but there are perfect moments, and I believe this deviation is another example of that saying.
Overall, I dare to say the photographer behind this picture definitely has both talent and a keen eye to immortalize the true beauty of our planet. I highly recommend people take a more closer look on his gallery.

I love the illusion that the lingering fog creates! It is as if the horizon were not really there, leaving the borderline of heaven and earth almost indiscernible. The colours of the sky are also captured in a fine manner, which enhances the excellent impression of the scene even further.
Good work!
