Description "An' that's how I learned wot to do when ya meet an angry badger in a dark alley!" You look, slack-jawed, at Geoffrey. From the moment you woke up in this tavern, your whole day has been filled with all sorts of new things. First off, you woke up with no memory of who you are and now you're being forced to listen to a complete stranger go on for an hour about how he "ate thirty bowls of round stew when he was a lad and kept it down."
Trying to distract yourself from what might as well be psychological torture, you look around the main room of the tavern. A small mouse wearing a green habit catches your attention, and while she sees your desperation to get out of the hare's conversation, all she seems to do is give you a sympathetic smile. Eventually, you give up and try to find an empty table to sit at. You sit down, put your hands/paws on your forehead, close your eyes, and let out a heavy sigh. All the while Geoffrey the hare just doesn't stop talking, either not knowing or just not caring that you don't want to hear about how he "beat a wolverine in an eating contest three years ago."
--------------------------------
This is a scene that I thought up for my story where the still unnamed protagonist meets Geoffrey the hare, and is then subjected to the torture of listening to his life story.

Geoffrey was inspired by the hares from the Redwall series, as revealed by his choice of attire, accent, and apparent appetite. (Remember the thirty bowls of "round stew"?)

As for our fabulous fluffy fox friend, I'm still trying to figure out a name for them. If anyone has any suggestions, I would like to see them.

Still no pants, but there will be soon.

Don't ask me what "round stew" is. I don't know what it is, but it sounded appropriate at the time.

Do not steal.
