Dragon Love Part 1

The two purple dragons ran through the tree covered mountains. Their claws clicked on the hard ground as they ran away from the hordes of creatures chasing them. They didn't fly as that would make them more noticeable. They ran for quite a while until they got a bit of a lead on the creatures before hiding in the trees. The larger of the two dragons begins to chant some words to create a portal to another realm. "Scorch go, go now before they come" the larger dragon commands the smaller dragon. As Scorch is about to go through the portal a laser beam is fired & hits the larger dragon squarely in the chest. "Mum" screams Scorch. Before she dies the largest dragon shoves Scorch through the portal & chants the words to close the portal.

As Scorch goes through the portal she gets the sensation of spinning like she's being flushed down the drain before she comes through the portal on the other side. The portal on the other side is high up in the air so when Scorch comes through the portal closing behind her she immediately begins to plummet to the ground, so Scorch opens her wings & glides her way to the ground. As Scorch lands on the ground she slumps down & begins to cry then eventually falling asleep.

Frost's P.O.V
A blue male dragon a little bigger than Scorch is walking through a forest not too far from where Scorch is, he stops walking for a moment as he hears a sound & cranes his head to hear better. When he realises it's the sound of someone crying he makes his way closer to the crying until the noise quietens before stopping. Upon the crying stopping he quickens his pace until he sees the sleeping form of Scorch, where he begins to watch her while thinking that she looks vaguely familiar until it dawns on him that it's his childhood friend Scorch. He watches her a little longer before curling up & going to sleep not too far from her sleeping form.

Scorch's P.O.V
The next day Scorch awakens to the sunlight creeping in through the trees hitting her face. She tries to go back to sleep but is unable do so she decides to get up. While she's getting up she notices the sleeping form of a blue dragon, so she decides to quietly make her way from him. Whiles she's trying to do this the blue dragon's starts to stir then bolt up. Scorch begins to run away when she hears him speak "Not leaving me again are you Scorch?" Upon hearing this she stops in her tracks, turns around so she's facing in his direction & asks "Who are you & how do you know my name?" "Oh come on Scorch don't you recognise me?" he asks her. After hearing this she slowly makes her way closer to him to get a better look at him. After a minute or two of looking at him she asks him "Frost is that you?" "Who else or is there another blue dragon you know?" he replies smiling. As he's said this Scorch runs towards him & standing on her back legs embraces him in a hug. After a couple of minutes of hugging Scorch lets go of Frost & drops onto all fours.

Frost starts walking motioning Scorch to follow. As they are walking Frost turns to Scorch & asks "So how come your on your own, where's your mum?" Scorch stops in her tracks & sobbing says "She's dead; she died protecting me just before I came through the portal to this realm". Frost stops then embraces Scorch in a hug saying "I'm so sorry I didn't think, I'm so stupid". "It's not your fault you didn't know" she replies. "No but I should of figured something was wrong otherwise you wouldn't have been crying in the middle of the forest" he said.

After Scorch Stopped crying they started walking again towards the town where Frost lives & where Scorch once lived. It was dark when they got to the town & so the streets were empty. "Good none's around to see you" Frost said. "Why what's wrong with me, oh I get it you don't want any of your friends to see you with me" she said with hurt in her voice. "No! it's not that, it's the fact that you're a purple dragon & if anyone see's you, by morning there'd probably be every male dragon in town knocking on the door wanting you to be their mate" Frost says. "Oh sorry" she replies. "Come on I'll show you were you'll be sleeping" Frost informs Scorch showing her to a spare bedroom. Scorch thanks Frost & tells him goodnight before getting in bed & falling asleep.

Frost's P.O.V
After saying goodnight to Scorch, Frost goes to his room, climbs into bed & contemplates on the events of the day before also falling asleep.
