DOWNLOAD FOR TEH FULL OF TEH VIEWY!Ok, so I've completely and UTTERLY fallen in love with Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame again. I must have listened to Menken's soundtrack and watched it 3 times this weekend.
I haven't drawn Frollo and Esmeralda since I was like, 14!
And Frollo is a bastard! But we all love him, right?
Man I drew some pretty sick stuff back then!

I used to use Crayola pencils to colour my FrolloxEsme art then, and I'm a bit stuck as to what to do now. Do I rekindle that love for the pair and do pencils? Or splash out with great smoke and fire effects and go all digital? I can't decide.

I've struggled to draw him without it being chibi form. I attempted once and it was horrendous.

LOL! I will try and do some work on it this weekend! Still undecided if I should do traditional or tablet colouring.
Took my tablet out the other day and put some of the basic colours down and it just didn't seem to be happening. ;__;
Ah, maybe this weekend, I can get "in the zone" with it more.
I'd really like to make this a digital piece, it just takes me damned ages!

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, it just takes me ages to get into it.
Once I start I'm not too bad, but it does take ages for me to zone into digital work. Still can't grasp why that is though.

Ah... Look at maybe straightening the screen? Do you wear glasses? You might be straining your neck to see clearly beneath them. I know my mum had that trouble for a while.
Otherwise it's a lot to do with head position in relation to the screen...

Yes I wear glasses, and I think it is the way I'm positioning myself in relation to the screen that's causing it.
Probably why I don't like doing Photoshop work so much, and that I'd rather use a pencil and paper.

It is indeed, I totally agree with you on that one, I've been listening to it constantly this week, and to stir up fresh ideas to draw Frollo after such a long break away from him! I'm almost weeping!
