I have been wanting to draw my own version of Dorothy, from the Wizard of OZ, just a modern twist. I tried to keep a few original things from the 1939 version, like the blue and pattern on the shirt and of course the ruby slippers turned to sneakers.But I pictured Toto as a medium sized doggie and a bit of a mutt, plus the short tail is cute
I haven't thought about how the others will look, but I'll try and see how it goes.

That's how I'd see them, Dorothy as a cute but not forcing it out tomboy, Toto as a mixed-bread and the Ruby Slippers as red slip-on sneakers.

No prob! I always thought she'd be better like this and heck the Ruby slippers in the old film would've been the worst thing on such a long treck and are now the most valuble film costume element.
And that's more my type of dog.
