EDIT: Awkwardly, I think posting icons at 1x looks better. Very well!No mockup today, I'm afraid. Sorry everybody! I devoted yesterday and last night to some other things, although these did come out as a result. I also expect updates are going to slow down as of this point. Thank you all so much for the support throughout this little week's worth of updates. It's been really, really nice. I mean it.
Anyhow. I started seeing some other icons around dA in this style and thought maybe it was time to change my own as well, so I gave it a whirl. I'd say that of the two, Chatter easily came out the better (and to my dismay, slightly larger, stupid 50x50 is so constricting). Otherwise they both look okay, but they're nothing compared to the originals. My applause to the artists who can handle 50x50 better than me :<

The world would disagree, yes, but I'm not going to argue with you haha. And I suppose I do... but I also know a few people with have the same one too... I have the Octavia version, but I don't like the purple box that surrounds it, doesn't really fit the same like Vinyl does.

That does remind me of how many people used my old Vinyl icon. Even now, I get the occasional comment saying "this is awesome, I'ma use it!" and then the person uses it. Even now, at least four people are using it, and it always gives me a bit of a startle to run into it randomly xD ... And yeah, at least so many people are using yours too. I'll probably only ever associate the icon with you and Pix3M, though.
Anyhow, tell you what >.> If I ever feel confident enough, I'll do some others in this style and let you know about it, although I'd probably be stepping on the toes of whoever the style belongs to in the first place. I never ended up looking that up. I just found a few scattered avatars and went "okay I'm copying this" basically. I suspect that person or I might run into the other sometime or other.

Also, though I've seen both of these before, they're still quite neat lookin', I say! I especially like how Chatter's mane came out; very pretty~

I felt it was finally time to exercise Chatter's supposed changing hairstyle, but considering my ideas for Pony manes are hilariously boring and otherwise I cannot come up with my own ideas at all, so I just went with long and beautiful hair. I looked afterward and wondered if I'd accidentally put Grasswhistle in Chatter's body.
