I actually both preconceived this one and I sincerely enjoyed making it. I wanted to make the display border themed around apples or plants of some sort, but not this time. I'm getting there, though. Soon. I still really sort of hate textures.[link] This almost syncs up, but I made no effort to have it do so. It also makes a loud noise at the end I've warned you.

Someone oughta hack one of the games to have a pony theme. And the blocks could have the mane cast's cutie marks on them, like how Puzzle League replaced the shapes with Pokemon emblems.

Actually, I just finished looking in the tile data for a Tetris Attack GB ROM >_> As far as I can tell the sprites are compiled in a way where traditional tileset viewers don't like it. The only thing I could have changed were the Game Over text and most of the other letters :C I was seriously considering doing it for fun.

I love the text of the "Puzzle Apple!" and Apple Bloom bobbing up and down really makes it feel like a paused screen of actual gameplay.

Originally that text had the same font as the status text in the other box, but I figured my one friend would chastise me and tell me he would have preferred more flavour and variety, so I pushed myself a bit to come up with something fun for that part.

Although I was trying not to directly rip off that series, at the same time it was largely the mental inspiration for what I came up with here. I realize now, it would have been cute if I'd made three apples being "cleared" making those silly faces the panels make when you clear them.

That's a nice concept game to have, all you need is a programmer to program it for you. Now if only someone can also do for my Tetris too.

Thinking on it, programming a simple puzzle game would probably be very easy compared to a lot of other types of game engines.
