This looks so creepy out of context it's really not I swearEDIT: YEP I FORGOT TO MOVE HER STUPID HORN OVER, I KNEW I FORGOT SOMETHING IMPORTANT. I AM SO SORRY. HAHA.
So this started as me having the random idea at like 2PM after some commissions that I wanted to do a certain scene from No Game No Life and I was feeling ambitious enough to want to do a short animation in a basic-shaded style. Mainly, my initial idea was that I wanted to do the scene after this, with Lapis sticking his tongue out at somepony... then plans changed, ideas changed, and this took me like five or six hours plus food breaks and a headache, so once I got this shot done, I didn't actually have the energy left anymore to do the cut after, where Rainbow Dash would be the one sticking her tongue out instead xD So this is all we get, I'm afraid. I know, it's totally weird out of context and there is no reason why Twilight and RD are here.
I'm happy with how it all came out, though it helped me learn that I still have issues with head and body proportions with larger styles. I obviously need to go back to Lyla and draw her bigger orz

Yeah, that's why I try to do art all in one sitting ;_____; If I can't finish it from start to end at once, I lose inspiration/energy/ideas and then things can fall right out the window. And then I get sad because I was really looking forward to what I was working on.

With animations Ive trained myself to make short but reasonable goals. OwO
For example, I had an animation to do, but its different than what I usually do, so I know it will eat up a lot of time.
So I made the goal to construct the character for one night, and to work on the animation another night.
That way I dont overload myself, and my goals arent so big that I feel discouraged from even starting where I left off.
However I still want to finish art pieces all in one go from time to time, so its a never ending struggle xD

I hope it's always obvious that I'm only joking when I judge these things at face value, and it's probably not all that accurate. KLK is a plenty good show, I'm sure. But you've got to admit...

The wavey arms was my way of being sarcastic. I cannot in good faith claim NGNL is innocent. KLK deserves all the defense in the world, but NGNL?
Also that transformation sequence? You've really really got to experience it to really come to grips with it, but I'm not sure that people who see it before watching the show are really capable of that due to serious preconceptions. It's... I mean, this is a topic for another place, but yeah. I wish the show didn't get so many opinions by people who haven't tried it out, and I'm super glad that I dove into it completely blind like I do with everything I get into, because that is the best way to develop pure feelings for it.
But seriously no NGNL is not hiding itself on anything and is a pretty guilty pleasure, but it's a really good series, haha...

Aheh, that's okay! Story is another thing entirely and I don't think any worse of you~ Context is key for important meanings and scenes. I think it's good that you're open to trying new things and enjoying them, because there's a lot out there to like! And that you aren't afraid to express what you like and care about. I talk and joke a lot about a lot of things, but I would never ever try to hurt or insult you with what I say. I've probably said this before, but it would take something huge for me to stop seeing you the way I do, so don't let me ever make you think you're not great, because you are :c

My friend and I talked about who everybody would be and to be honest it's really hard to find matches for the cast xD I was thinking Sweetie Belle for Shiro (they still start with S!) but we really weren't sure if it made much sense in the end.

I know, I read that in the description :I But the colors and style of hand reminds me of disney characters, along with the large droopy robes. I know I sound crazy, but the robes just remind me of Mickey Mouse in his magic robes from Fantasia.

It took a bit of thought to count to myself how the background and characters should move xD At first I had the background move two for every character's one and I was like, wait, this is not right at all <_> I almost had them move in opposite directions too. It took some thought~
