Description
Featuring Octavia :3 With your standard accompanying short video footage [link] here! So you can see how I did it!To be totally honest, I don't think I have a terribly large amount to say down here this time. In the end, if you can draw Ponies, you can pixel them too. With them, it really just takes knowledge of the shapes and positions. If you can do that, you don't need a tutorial at all xD But I wanted to do it anyways.
That's... that's all~

Very interesting tutorial. Are we allowed to make icons like this as long as we give credit? I'd really love to make a . . better moving icon.

If you make something all on your own, no credit is necessary D: This was meant as an aid for people to get better! Even if I don't think it's a very good tutorial at all

As I've said to so many people already, I kind of think this tutorial is terrible and I've been meaning to put out a better one that's actually helpful to people. It doesn't help that I haven't used this style in such a long time, either, haha...

It at least showed me that I've been rather silly in my aproach, or I should handle this as minecraft pixel art.

Ahh, well I'm glad if it helps you xP Although I admit, I really do not like this tutorial at all and it is really not that great... but if it helps you, then that's good~ I'm hopefully going to make a new one sometime and hopefully it helps people out much more than this one does.

Well I mean, most of my art that turns out looking good, is kinda a fluke, randomchance, stumbled upon, then honed and polished, so stuff like tutorials I love because it takes a lot of the guess work out and helps me learn techniques that helps together with practice to increase th general level of ease and quality of my art. :~) And I haven't tried much pixel art, lol. I Look forward to your future tuts!

I think I really do understand what you mean, there. For me, learning anything new is all kinds of guess work and I'm kind of really bad at trial and error when it comes to art D: So whenever something goes well or I can get a helping hand, it makes me feel a lot better.

Oh, goodness D: Thank you so much for saying so. Truth be told, I want to redo this tutorial because I don't think it's very good, but people seem to like it anyways

Oh :o It always makes me happy to hear that people have used this! I'm sorry that it's not as helpful as it could be; I feel kind of poorly about this tutorial. But thank you xD

Nonsense, it helped amazingly. Especially when I tried to get the proportions right. :3 However, according to a friend of mine named Pinkie Pie, it's a tubby pony, lol.

Yours is a little tubby, yes. I'll be honest in saying so... :P But the foundation is all there and if you practiced, things would surely improve!
I might make a second version of the tutorial, though :c Maybe to be more helpful for people. I still don't think very highly of this version.

I thought it was helpful, but I suppose you could say a little more about the colors and the shaping. It looked more like you were telling us what you do and not what we should do. :3
Ale Dekuju. Very helpful as I have never even tried a smaller picture than 700x700 or so, just a guess.

I just logged on after I don't know how long and noticed you don't get much love on your pictures! I wanted to say that this, and really all your pixel art that I see just from your page is amazing! I was working on a comic a while back using Photoshop but I havn't been doing well because I can't draw organically (My hands, I have a disability), But it's gotten out of hand and... well I'm hoping your tutorial can help me get back into the thing I love with pixel ponies!

Oh... gosh, thank you so much :c I am still a growing artist, I will get a lot of love one day, when it comes to me.
As for you, there are a lot of people who still do what they love even with a disability. I don't know what it's like, of course... but I've seen how many people it didn't stop. It's rather inspirational and it makes me believe that people can do anything if they want to.

D'awwe thank you so much for your own support too. I'll get back to you with my result, but I don't think it'll be soon, or anywhere near as good as yours. Really they are amazing, for pixels!
