I hate backgrounds.Request from , my best customer <3 of her dragon Grailus.
I basically ignored everything I could find describing him because I really just wanted an excuse to draw a dragon breathing fire, but apparently it fits with his story so thats cool. Perhaps he is earning the right to be a lazy couch potato by kicking ass once in a while (granted hes about the size of a rat, so whether or not hes overly intimidating is open to debate).
First time drawing fire in PS, be nice to it. Also kind of failed at "iridescent black". And at the wings, and at the feet, and the tail...the more I stare at it the more I will notice whats wrong. Oh well.
Original here. I tried to follow it as much as possible but it just wasnt working.

No matter what program or traditional medium youre using, it helps to experiment. Just start playing around with things until you get something you like. Its ok to start over!

hahahaha..actually not long after meeting his chosen they were put in a situation..he said he's more than earned his right to be lazy and he doesn't like the Griblins..Griblin meet fire..fire meet Griblin..well, he doesn't like elven god's of death either and..and..and..

He does say though that he likes you. He's still quite annoyed with me getting the other commission of him being a spoiled lazy dragon.

His sisters started to tease him but I reminded them they're not much better..one or two have even allowed their chosen to pet them like they were a cat/dog/etc. Dae got offended saying she was trying to give comfort to her chosen when he was upset over something that had happened.

We found a temperary one..less than half the size of this one. All my things will be stored until we find another place. >.< My anxiety level has been high, the temp place is smaller than anywhere I've ever lived, even the tiny apartment in New Jersey. I already felt cramped here where we are..a person can blink at one end of the house and someone on the other can hear it. I'm not even going to have a bed at the temp place, I'm going to be sleep on the couch..the closet (er..room) I'd use for a bedroom will store a bunch of things that can't sit in a storage unit.
It would be awesome though if Grailus could find us a place.
