I am more so just needing ideas for subjects that would fit into geology. Most of those geology are just polished stones or rock collections. I want geological features in nature. Which finding subjects to fit is difficult. Especially as we have very few mountains around here. We only have one area I know that has cliffs and rocks. The lighting isn't the best for photos without including the trees.

It's hard to find one feature in nature, especially in the non-mountainous area or non-coastal area. Here I can find it only at a coast or a cave. I planned to take one in Uluru, that would be the perfect one with trees.

Yep very difficult luckily I know where there is one cave and I hope next year to be able to be in good enough shape to take a couple hour drive north and handle walking a bunch and make a trip through the waterfall zone. We don't have any full time waterfalls or even a large occasional one around here though a few hour drive north there is rapids and waterfalls a plenty.

It's good to have a photo trip at the waterfall. Also, if it possible to have a picnic over there, that would be perfect. I had been to the waterfall in the northern part of Thailand 2 years ago. We had a picnic there on the rock at the center of the waterfall, nice view and fresh air. Unfortunately, the water seems too shallow and the deeper part seems too rough too swim.

I wish I'll have a chance to visit a waterfall with a cave behind it, that would be great
