After what feels like probably 47 years, I finally got around to drawing up a new sheet for the cute little guys

Brumes are an adorable species invented by Sableu , she gave me ownership of them a while back, and they also have a group here> , which was going to be a whole world project, but i've recently shelved the rest of that vision because of personal reasons.

The full BRUME owner masterlist is held on that group as well

CREUX BRUME (Brume Born from a Human)
"Like normal brumes these must follow the species standards with tails and ears, any odd things are still considered a mutation. Unlike other brumes, these can come in any size, as they take on the full flesh of an animal, and the face of a human. They do not usually have protruding bones. Their faces are always white, and eyes are still hollow.
These brumes are always born from deceased humans, and so 'borrow' the face of the human it was born from. They do not have any memories of the human or share it's personality, they merely use it's face to shape it's own. They still might have accessories like normal brumes.
These brumes are more social and easier to domesticate. They learn more tricks and with patience you can teach your Creux Brume how to talk." - Sableu

I'm also bulletpointing some other facts about them!

Zaffara - "Do they make any type of noises/vocalizations?"
Sableu - "Yes, they can adopt any sort of sound that the creature they are born from makes, otherwise they squeak and make hollow meow sounds. Only creux brumes can speak actual words if they are taught."

Zaffara - "Do they have magic of their own and if so, is that also dependent on what creature they once were? "
Sableu - " If they are born from a magical creature, yes, if not, then no. Their existence is already magical ... although they can shrink..."

Zaffara - "How intelligent are they?
Sableu - " Their intelligence is up to you."

Zaffara - "Can their bones be different colors as well, or are they always white with or without paint?"
Sableu - "I would say the bones CAN be different colours, but it would only be a result from paint. Any other colour occurring naturally would be a mutation."

Zaffara - "What are their natural lifespans?"
Sableu - "They live forever unless killed."

NoSafeHavenHere - "Are brumes corporeal? Or do they have a physical, solid body. ... or can they switch between at will the same with them wishing to be seen?" "curious if they could go through walls or anything like that."
Sableu - "...they choose not to be seen. So it's up to you if they have some kind of invisibility state they take on, or maybe even they turn to mist... or perhaps they are just shy. This is entirely up to you!" "Of course"

KatsuraSyulei - "do brumes also take on the gender of the deceased animal/plant OR do they not have a gender at all once becoming a brume?"
MamaELM - "They are generally mammals, and would have a gender, but since their origination/birth process is magical in nature, it wouldn't have to depend on the gender of the deceased creature! e.g. A female squirrel brume could originate from a deceased male squirrel and so on."
