Ayla crept around the field cautiously, but growing more excited and bold with each step. The land beneath her seemed to tremble with excitement as the wind sent ripples of color and light through the stems and reeds. She danced and lept, the wind itself seemed to be dancing with her. She forgot to look where she was going, caught up in the invisible song the wind was carrying her with. *THUD*
She saw stars for a moment, and found herself sitting on her haunches, spindly legs sprawling out from all directions. She shook her head, clearing her vision and saw... Vetru themself...
"Haha, are you alright little one?"
She scrambled to her feet, nodding, eyes wide.
Time seemed to slow down as she took in the powerful traveler standing over her. Their large auric horn seemed to reach for the heavens, and arcs of lightning zapped and climbed through the hair and grasses flowing from its back. The wind picked up again, the song seemed more solomn now though, excited still, but Ayla remembered the past here. She could see countless emotions in Vetrus' eyes. Pain, sadness, guilt, happiness, fear...
She was overcome with a sense of gratefulness to be in the presence of such a beautiful being.
"thank you" she whispered, squinting slightly, a awkward and peaceful smile...
