This is my prompt entry for "The Coming of Noel"

Cheer and excitement bubbled everywhere throughout the community. Frost had begun creeping along the edges of leaves, leaving stars of ice crinkling across window panes. Every morning seemed to build towards the excitement, Noel was coming soon and all the babs could feel it. Violet said she had seen the light bringer flitting through the forest the other day. Whispers of glee seemed to burst from everyone, and the decorations caused the town to glow warmly amidst the whistles and hums, babs singing happily as they prepared feasts and treats.
Violet: Do you think Noel will be here tonight?
Robin: I'm not sure, i'm starting to think they'll never get here. It feels like its been so long!
Vegas: I hope they get here soon, I need to PAAAARTEYYYYY!!
Pocket: *jumping up and down* I can't wait I can't wait! What did you make?
Vegas: I made some AMAAAAZING pies, I can't wait for you all to taste them!
Pocket: I'm horrible at cooking, so I decorated! Look at all the tinsel! Its all over the WHOLE forest!!!
Robin: I hope they come soon, the pies will go bad if not.
Violet: Don't be worried Robin, they'll be here soon, I SWEAR I saw the light bringer last week!!!
Robin: I doubt that, it was probably just a moth!
Pocket: The candles were Mac's idea, aren't they glorious!
Mac: Ah, gosh thanks!
*the little troupe of babs finally reached the clearing*
Vegas: You're right Pocket, this is the prettiest place, we should deck out one of these trees, just go absolutely NUTS. Lights and streamers and popcorn! It will be amaz...
Robin: OH MY GOSH! LOOK!
*a quiet gasp escaped from them collectively as they noticed a small bab tiptoeing towards them through the firs*
Mac: *whispering* its...the light bringer!
*the group held their breath as the fairy-like bab danced past them, re-lighting each candle with a tiny burst of magic. Their tail swirled behind them like a graceful smoke galaxy, creating an air of enchantment that lulled them all into a sense of peace and happiness*
The frost bringer burst into the clearing, zips of ice crackled behind them, coating everything in a sparkling flecks of ice. The two small babs swirled around eachother, their giggles sounding like tinkling bells, echoing through the clearing like music.

Thats when Noel appeared. Plush folds of fur enveloped the glorious creature, bright flecks of gold and crimson dappled its coat. A warm glow beamed from them, their paws crunching the snow as they padded forward. They glanced kindly around the clearing, observing all the lovely preparations, sniffing the air, they could smell the delicious pies and meals waiting for them through the trees. Smiling, they nodded in appreciation at the babs. Robin crept forward carefully, tiptoeing towards the impressive mantibab.
Robin: you...you're real! You're...here!
Noel: Hello Robin.
Robin: You know my name! *his tail wagged excitedly*
Noel: Of course! I've been watching as you got everything ready, this season, the cold, it draws people together. It has a wonderful pull, towards warmth and happiness and spending time with loved ones. I love this season and you all have done amazingly, helping eachother and spreading such happiness! Your colors remind me of holly too, you're so cute!
Robin: *blushing* ahaha oh gosh thank you!
Pocket: Come on then! Lets go try Vegas' pies!
Violet: The light bringer really likes your candles Mac!
*the tiny bab flitted around the candles, licking at the flames and giggling more*
Mac: awww they do! *blushing*
The bringer's laughs tinkled into the night as the awestruck cheerful group plodded through the snow back towards the village, looking forward to sharing the snowy season with their new friend. ""
