You captured Dex perfectly, seriously.
I love how fluffy you made his mane. His little bangs are PERFECT. I love how his horns are literally just 3 color strokes but you can totes feel the light source on them; I love your stark shading.
Tongue is the perfect color and shape; love how you made the actual inside of his mouth teal too - that's how it should be <333

I love his muzzle too - you made the nose and wrinkles so simple but you can really feel the tension in his face.
And hiS EYE OMG. His eye is my favorite part. I love how you do eyes. While he only has one white ring, the way you painted this is SO BEAUTIFUL. You always make eyes so deep with the slight shadow and glowy bits. Even though I do very similar things with my eyes, I can never make them have such depth and shiny beauty as yours.
This is seriously so effing perfect, I was not expecting this. Cool thing too, the way you did it is perfect for an avatar.

Dex has been a character I've been hardcore developing since October, going through around 12 different design versions, with how his colors should be; always grayscale, I kept messing with the specific shades, amounts, and placement..Heck, the old drawings of him were crap and I changed his features and anatomy a lot to get him to his final design now. You really brought him to life. In my time here at DA and even before, I had many characters..many of which were adopted. Currently only Skye, Eira, and Dex are my own; obviously I'll always love Skye, and Eira is my new "me", but Dex as a character is my pride and joy and you honored him wonderfully
