HEY! So, this is totally new! If any of you really know me, you’d know that I am TERRIBLE with horror games. I actually broke my toe playing Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies (which I don’t play anymore) when a zombie was all up in my face as I turned around. I screamed and then promptly kicked the couch in front of me out of reflex, and there you have it. I’m terrible with suspense too.
But still, this game looks like it’s going to be SO good! Although I know I can’t handle playing it myself, I’ve watched so many gameplays of the different Alphas. The art style, the gameplay, the theories!!! SO GOOD!!! It’ll be coming out this summer so we’ll get to see what is really in store for this unique game!!!
Essentially, Hello Neighbor is about you moving into a new town. Your neighbor across the street has chilling things going on in his house, and it’s up to you to run, hide, and puzzle your way to the secret basement.
The song that came up when drawing this was “The Sound of Silence,” or as we know best, “Hello darkness my old friend.” Hilarious memes aside, I really like how this song sounds so pleading, almost begging for help or to give help, especially the Disturbed version. Check ‘em both out!

No problem! And i get what you mean about the new release, that came out after like 1 year ago...It's been so long since the last time i've seen the beta. And the full release, and after that...I thought...The whole story is over, and there is going to be nothing but theories.
But, they made one. It came out of nowhere! And i'm still speechless!
Ok, but think of this ok? Even though it was really late, just know that if it does come out on December...At least, it'll be like a Christmas present!

I was too. I was SO hyped to get some clear answers, a bigger storyline, a bigger backstory, a bigger game! The hype buildup set everyone's expectations a little too high, perhaps WAY too high.. NONE of the big questions were ever answered..
I'm a bit more sympathetic as time goes on. There is some good stuff and new things in the final, and I can't take away the excitement I had during the Alphas. Some things are starting to be pieced together and make sense, so perhaps this game is better observed in retrospect.
Still, I think TinyBuild could've taken this to a whole new level. They had such potential...

I'd flip out if they did a movie on Hello Neighbor! The style in the game is inspired by Pixar-style! It could totally work!

Hello Neighborhas quickly become my favorite game in the stealth genre, along with one of my favorites for the top 10 best horror games I've liked so far. Honestly, I'm so hyped for the new release of 2017, and I will whole-heartedly smile at this game forever. :3

I'm so hyped for the new release too! I love how the style is bright and Pixar-like, but still has such a scary vibe to it! I really want to see all the loose ends tied up! (who's the woman and child? who's the guy in the painting? how much freaking glue does the Neighbor have in his pocket???)
I'm not very good with teaching art, but I can say observational drawing really helps as well as just drawing like mad. After years of practice, stretching, and observation, compositions like these come to you in a split second and unexpectedly. Making the final is simply adding and adding upon the original sketch!

Yeah, so am I!! Same!! I just love how vibrant and whimsical everything is, yet with its spine-chilling touch that makes it so special and unique!! Same with me!! Sort of. I got more of a halloween feel from it at first. Though, in my mind, there is a wide range of colors that could be considered alien (don't ask me what is alien XD to me, everything could be extraterrestrial. Heck, baby blue and pink could be cotton candy aliens from the planet Garfunkle! XD)
