Hi, I've just recently found DotW and I'm veryΒ interested in joining.Β Β I was wondering if you had a perspective on what each pack's personality is normally like. On the pages they gave you a load of details but I still can't seem to choose before Applications open again. I'd love to know what each pack's like so I'd be able to join based off of that. If you have any suggestions for me, I'd love to hear some! Also,- and sorry, I shouldn't be asking questions on your page instead of DotW but I was interested in asking you personallyΒ Β - I was wondering if you have to join as a pup or can you join at any age?

Chandor and its members:
The loner life is not for every wolf, but, neither is pack life. None know this better than Chandor's Alpha, Aethelynda, although she prefers you call her Lyn. When founding her pack, Lyn sought to make a safe haven for those wolves who didn't quite have a place in life, much like herself. Therefore, Chandor is a family, not a pack. To its members, Chandorβs number one priority is peace and inclusion. They will not hesitate to punish, but would rather solve problems in a manner of respect and understanding.
Chandor and outsiders:
Chandor seaks overall sanctuary from the past and tranquility for the future. An outsider seeking such sanctuary is handled with a caring eye. Although, theyβre still cautious to outsiders. However, confrontations should be handled peaceably; hostility is a last resort.
Havir Pack Information Page
Havir and its members:
Havir is not an easy place to live. The landscape is unforgiving, far north and with weather coming off the water that gets caged in by mountains, winter lasts 6 months and summer is still much colder than the rest of the DotW map. The wolves of this pack echo this cold and harsh landscape. You live, or you die. There is little remorse for weakness, although strength is not coveted; weakness is just not given much leeway. Nonetheless, pack survival does have its importance, and elders are an important piece of this culture as they have great amounts of religious knowledge to share, and were strong enough to live so long. Therefor, although weak with old age, elders are cared for as if they were still strong. There are three things that are important to the wolves of Havir: Ritual, Respect, and Rank.

Vale is fierce, loyal and strong. Externally, the clan can appear to be a rauccous and menacing pack. At their core, Vale wolves are passionate warriors. At times they are ruthless, but their morals and allegiance to their brood runs strong. The care and health of the clan as a whole is of the utmost importance. Vale believes in doing what is best for all members as opposed to placing emphasis on the individual. A task is to be held by every wolf to ensure Vale is striving forward and living to itβs full potential. Unlike other packs in the area, the clan does not just seek to maintain itself, but to improve exponentially. Vale wolves have a special affinity with nature and believe in honoring the Earth for being the ultimate provider. Aryn and its members:
This pack ekes out an existence in the rocky mountain valleys high above the rest of the world. It is not forgiving territory, especially for strangers. They are an extremely close-knit family, and as such unity is the defining feature of Aryn. Packmates are brothers and sisters in trust if not in blood. Aryn protects its own; every individual is a part of the bigger whole, and each serves a unique purpose within the pack. Rank denotes experience and authority, giving the pack a chain of command, but even the lowest omega is an asset to the clan's survival and should be treated as such.Aryn is led by Athena, a small, fierce black she-wolf. The pack was once a well-established, thriving family occupying a territory farther West. Drought and wildfire forced them from their home, and during this exodus the old clan scattered to the winds. The view of Vektren depends solely on one's perspective. For some, the pack is an organized and dangerous group of professional assassins and thieves who are used as hired gun to get rid of unwanted trouble or gathering information from an enemy without putting oneself in any actual danger. But for others, it is an honorable guild which plays an important part in keeping the world protected and cleansed from the evil that sprouts from the underworld. Either view is sufficient as long the services of the pack are well performed. Even though honor among such an organization is generally dubious, they do adhere to one standard: contracts are met and agreements are kept.
Wolves in Vektren act as a brotherhood bonded in their dark deeds, and respect is one of the main ties on that - united misfits who look after each other and have a deep understanding of the delicate system they belong to. I'm currently out of town and don't have time to write out summaries for each pack. I recommend you read through all the pack cultures so you can choose which best fits your character. You will have ample time to do so because we have not selected an opening date yet. Your character can be any age upon joining. If they are a pup, they will need to have a care taker.
