Yeah, most of the 5th generations are kind of 'meh' for me. They could have done better if they'd spent a little more time on the designs and the game, in my opinion...

They should try re-making some of their old games before they go off making a brand-new region. Ruby and Sapphire really need a DS remake, along with FireRed and LeafGreen. And I'm still waiting for another Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game. Oh well, it's whatever appeals to their target audience - kids with disposable income. :/

Would you? I'd love to replay the original Ruby/Sapphire games, but it's hard to find a copy of it online that isn't fake. They don't sell GBA games in video game stores anymore, and that's pretty much the only way to tell if you're buying a legitimate game. I've got a couple of fake pokemon games that my mum bought unknowingly off the internet a long time ago, and they're not good quality. They have saving problems, so I play until I get up to the Pokemon League. After defeating the Elite Four, the game resets itself.
Besides, if they did make a new game, chances are it'll be for the 3DS only. Seems like nearly all games nowadays are being converted to 3DS games.

Yeah, I'd prefer it if the original GBA games were left as GBA games. I didn't know that they don't sell them in stores anymore, though, so I guess maybe it would be good if they redid them. I have the original games for Game Boy, so I don't really care for the idea of remaking them as DS games, but I guess for someone who prefers DS or doesn't have the games, they'd want that. :/
I don't understand 3DS. I've played one and I really didn't like it at all. Plus, I saw that they recently cut the price from 200 something USD to 160 or so - I'm assuming because people don't want to buy them.

I see. I should really have bought them when GBA games were still being sold. Darn, I miss GBA...
3D effects give me headaches. And just playing a normal DS gives me a headache, so 100% playing on one of those would be even worse. I don't like the design, it looks bulky. I'd probably play it with the 3D effects for like 5 minutes before switching it off and just playing it normally. And that would be a waste of money, because I already have a perfectly good DSi.
The reasons people would buy it are that they don't already have a DS, they really want the games that are 3DS-only, or they're die-hard Nintendo fans. I think Nintendo were hoping that people would buy it out of loyalty to the company. I don't like how they're remaking good games like Nintendogs and Animal Crossing, and making them only available on the 3DS.

I'm sure that the 3DS would probably give me headaches too, if I played it long enough. I've never really been a fan of that kind of 3D anyway. I like the movie sort of 3D, but that inward sort that the 3DS has is kind of weird and I don't really like it.
It is sort of bulky, I guess. I'd prefer the DS Lite or the DSi over the 3DS. I still have the brick; you know, the very first sort of DS that they sold? I've been good having that one for years, even though one of the little knobs holding the DS together is broken. And even if I did get a new DS, I wouldn't get the 3D one.
I guess so. My English teacher from last year told me that her two children saved up their own money and bought themselves 3DS's. I guess maybe they just liked them, or wanted the 3D effects or whatever. But I dunno, I wouldn't want one.

I used to have one of those old DS systems. But I managed to break it. The top screen fell off it's hinges.
I prefer the DSi/Lite to the 3DS. And lol, the brick. That's what we used to call my friend's mobile phone. xD
Kids are going to think it's really cool to have something with 3D effects, so they're going to want it. Apparently the 3D effects could damage children's eyesight.
I loved Nintendogs. I got the Dachshund version for Christmas when it first came out. But yeah, they remaking it, and this version has cats in it too. But my friend, who has a 3DS and the game, says that the cats aren't really worth getting, because you can't enter them in contests or take them for walks.

Yeah, that's what's wrong with mine. I'm just waiting for it to bust, which'll probably happen soon. I'm not exactly 'gentle' with it. xD If I dropped it or threw it, it would probably break.
That's not good. :c If I had children and I knew that, I'd get them one of the other kinds of DS's.
Nintendogs for the regular DS are awesome, awesome games, I think. I love doing the contests and bathing them and walking them and whatnot. I do think cats would be a waste of time. You wouldn't be able to do so much with them.

I really should be more careful with mine. I end up dropping them on the floor. Luckily the newer models are more durable.
That's what my friend said. The cats are probably just for show. I mean, can you imagine walking a cat? xD
