Cheers pal! No I didn't add the rays but it is a HDR image - I used 4 different exposures, also had a polarising and nd filter attached

Absolutely do man, even if you just get a uv to protect your glass! Just by looking at your stuff I reckon you'd like a polarising filter too, for landscapes they can be really beneficial, makes the colours really pop ya know!

cheers mate. i got uv filters on all my lenses, but i'll buy a polarising filter and probably some nd grads, am going to upgrade my camera body first though!
