whats grunge? i mean are they like blood splatter or something? i kinda like to know what i'm getting...

Grunge can be like rocky textures...blood splatters... Cracks... Smudges...
They are like a collage of textures...
They can be used to make abstract backgrounds, Signatures... Pretty much anything they are very useful
Generally they are used to make gothic type pictures or pictures that have a dark theme, but they can be used to make things like wall textures... Erm I made them to make this: -
