Well, of all the things they were expecting, I don't think it was these guys. Who the hell brought illegal 'mons onto Ohana?!
...If nothing else, I suppose one could say finding something this obviously suspicious is a good start. 'Good' being completely subjective though. :'D

This is so freaking dramatic omg. I am loving the parallels, and the way you rendered snow looks awesome! Poor Ion and Nate seem to have gotten themselves caught in the crossfire there D: BUT OH DAMN THOSE LAST PANELS. Gave me chills man~

WELL SNAP, Have to say I did not see those two 'mons coming! And I still spy the Next page coming soon, so I can't wait to see what you have in store, this is proving to be an interesting coming round~ And all these intro comics are getting the hype built up You did an amazing job though, including all the trainers and then the parallel between the situations, it's super fluid!
Also, small thing I find cool is how Orrin ended up on the VI team while he is originally from the FI. But, I see that it would have made an uneven amount of people per team otherwise. Plus he gets to revisit Mt. Mauna after last round heehoohee >8') the horror

And yes, we had to move to FI peeps to the VI team for this round, to help even things out, thus the temporary switch for Orrin (and Harvey) here, but don't worry, I'm sure he'll cope. Or not. We'll see soon enough. XD
And I'm glad you've enjoyed the intro so far, they've not been the easiest things to plan out and draw, so it's a huge relief that the risk with the parallel story paid off <333

Ohs nos! Things are taking quite a turn. Really like those last few panels with the rangers facing off against the mons~ They have a very "Things are about to go down" feel. Good luck, rangers, you can do it!

I gotta say as a pokemon fan, that your work really amazes me in a way that not even the games have done since I was a little kid. You put so much character into each scene that makes everything so much more immersive and incredible, really putting the pokemon world into a realistic perspective that makes me can't help but think of superhero comics and things like that that make even the simplest concepts amazing and imaginative. I have to thank you for being so incredible like that, for revitalizing my childlike imagination, and inspiring me to do some drawing of my own, maybe even learn how to make my drawings dynamic like yours. Anyway, you've got my best wishes from back there to the very end as one of my favorite artists. Have a holly jolly good one and many more to come!
