More to the point: STOP F***ING TELLING ME CHARIZARD ISN'T A DRAGON!! I've seriously had it up to here with you BLIND IGNORANT FOOLS. Charizard is based upon a Western Dragon, can breathe FIRE, can learn several Dragon typed moves, is in the Dragon Breeding group and better yet, lacks the 4x ICE WEAKNESS.
ANYONE who tells me he's not a Dragon after me putting this warning here will be very coarsely attended to. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

I've kinda wanted to a Pokemon pic for a while, I just haven't got around to doing it before now. This is my ideal team for any of the Pokemon games. I'm working on Emerald (and soon Firered) to get me this team. There's only five instead of six because (anime based theory) people shouldn't catch legendaries, and I'm hoping that with the release of Diamond/Pearl, that there'll be a Dark/Dragon type! 
That one would instant Teamage!I think the forest looks alright, it was a bit of a challenge to get the filtered sunlight looking good though. And yes, I used the Adobe grass brush. Sorry, but I'm too damn lazy to draw all that grass on my own, especially when PS does it so well.
*EDIT 25/06/07* I'm too lazy to bother changing the original text, but yeah, I realise that all the D/P Pokemon are out now, and that they all pretty much suck. Except for Chimchar.

Well, as for dragons, Charizard and Gyarados are still considered dragons, even if not by type (aren't all dragons just big lizards anyway??). And on that line of thought, I don't consider Altaria to be dragon type at all. It looks more like an eastern phoenix than a dragon, and Garchomp? Well, to me, that thing is ugliest dragon pokemon I've seen thus far. I could go on, but I'll stop there.

jejej thats ok^^ but altaria is a real dragon (like a little dragonair on a cloud) and about charlizard...well I think the only reason he has some dragon atacks in new games is because he become popular but heis dragons atribute are just a legend as the psy type of spyduck.....and about gyarados ...its difficult I think he must be a dragon, and milotic to but well.....

chinease dragons are looooong serpents that lives in clouds, and thats Altaria. Charizard at the biggining had little wings but the tv serie make him popular (the same as psyduck) and that deformed the original idea, psyduck is ounly a water type that could use confusion but in tv he is a psy tipe and charizard dont leard dragon atacks at first, ounly gyarados and dragonate family leard that type in red and blue. and a dragon type starter is strange XD may be in next games charizard is recongnised as a dragon type but its not the original idea..........and milotic... I dont knowXD but I want her to me a dragon

Well, I wouldn't say all the Diamond/Pearl Pokemon stink... besides, there is the Dragon/Ground type in Diamond/Pearl called Gible, that evolves into Gabite and then Garchomp. XD

Well, yeah, there are a few I like in D/P, but for the most part, the majority look like they were just made for the sake of being made, and not for adding to a better Pokemon universe. And for me, I think that Land Shark is ugly, and could've at least been typed as either fighting/ground or dragon/fighting.

Too bad that the only Dragon/ Steel type is Dialga . . . that would be a good addition. Yeah I like dragon-types as well, especially Charizard, Salamence, and Gyarados. Btw I love Kingdra's pose!

I have to say, that the newer Dragons don't impress me too much. First, they made Altaria a dragon, and there's no real possible way it could be counted as one, and then they make this 'land-shark' and pretend it's a dragon too.

Yeah I know what you mean about the land shark thing; I'm still trying to figure out why they made him Dragon/ Ground, we certainly don't need more dragons that are 4X weak to Ice. He would've totally rocked if they had made him Water/ Dragon, but then again he's a land shark. XD Oh, well. Yeah, the old dragons were easier to warm up to; some of the new designs don't seem . . . Pokemon-y. Flygon is awesome and actually LOOKS like a Pokemon, Dialga is awesome but doesn't look that much like a Pokemon to me.

Well, personally, I think he could've been a great Fighting/Dragon type, and he certainly looks the part to suit it. As far as legendaries go, they keep making too many 'all powerful' ones. What happened to Mewtwo?!
But yeah, to me the older ones were definitely better. With this new generation, it looks like they were created just to fill gaps, and not to be part of a more interesting Pokemon world.

I agree. They are making WAYY too many legendaries this time around, and way too many that are ridiculously hard to obtain. I am starting to miss the old days when all Pokemon had their own unique identity . . . Snorlax was the heaviest Pokemon, Mew was the mother of all Pokemon, Mewtwo was the ludicrously powerful legendary, Dragonite was the one actual dragon Pokemon (although I must say the Ru/ Sa dragons rule all), gengar was the one Ghost (and the best IMO). Gold/ Silver was cool too; Pokemon were still unique. Ru/ Sa IMO started some of the copying . . . then D/ P, while I like the games, kind of made some Pokemon lose their identity. Torterra's shape and concept is an awful lot like Venusaur's (while personally I like Torterra better, that is true), and the three legendaries are kind of "meh". Hmm Dragon/ Fighting would have been original at least . . . why oh why Dragon/ Ground?! *4X weak to ice again sheesh* That would have been cool cuz he could use his Attack stat a bit more.
Mewtwo is sadly starting to fade into the crowd of insanely powerful legendaries . . . I know exactly what you mean.

I personally think they could've done a much better job this time around. There's no arguing that. And as far as the next generation of critters goes (face it, we will have 50 bazillion Pokemon in the end
But maybe they could take it out of fictional Japan even?? Go to a huge continent, with maybe double the Pokemon or something? But of course with more thought added!

You know what would totally rock? If they could make another Pokemon game, but not make new Pokemon . . . and have ALL of the Pokemon from ALL of the regions in this one game! It would either be one big region where you needed like sixteen badges, or all of the regions in one game. It would take forever, but it would be cool. Yeah I admit you are right . . . Bidoof is a doof, and they're makinf too many dang legendaries! R/ B/ Y was cool with only five and even G/ S/ C was cool, but when D/ P came out there seemed to be a legendary overload. Don't get me wrong, D/ P is cool, but a lot of the new Pokemon don't look like . . . Pokemon.
I would love it i they made a Pokemon game be on one big continent- but like I said earlier, it would be cool if they just had all the Pokemon in one game, even Mew! But maybe they should do something like you have to get all 150 R/ B/ Y Pokes to get Mew, and all 100 G/S/C Pokes to get Celebi. heh, it's do-able, and you have to work for it, and there's no Game Shark or Action Replay. Just an idea.

Yeah, I think that'd be good too! Just one huge all-out adventure, that takes at least a week to complete (playing non-stop like some people do!) and ends up being your very own trainer tale, like the anime!

I wonder what you would start out with though . . . that'd be kind of cool if there were other Pokemon you could start out with in that game, like maybe an Eevee! Yeah! You would start out with Eevee, like Gary did in Yellow. Hmm wonder if Nintendo would ever come out with something like that . . . it was so cool in GSC when you could trade any old Pokemon from the older games and go to the region even . . .

Well... if they did a huge continent, with all 400something on it, I don't think it'd hurt to have around 50 ~ 80 new ones, soley for that continent. Not enough for a new area dex, but just enough for people to discover new little (or big sometimes!) surprises on their journey!

Yeah, it'd be weird if they had a big ol' region and no new ones. A few new ones would be ok. And that'd be cool if we could go to the other regions, and even go to the Orange Islands! (Or are the Sevii Islands in Fr/ Lg supposed to be the Ornage Islands?)

no prob... i really like how everyone looks so comfy in this pic. this kinda' reminds me of when i still played the games on a daily basis... i had this thing where i hated the idea of having a pokemon in a pokeball so i just pretended i had my pokemon walking around w/ me... god, i'm such a goof x.x;; *blushes embarassedly* this must be weird... me just saying all this stuff but... i dun really get to talk about pokemon alot... people either say it sucks (blasphemy ><;; lol) or they just don't really care too much about it.... oh well... sorry if i bothered you ^_^;; i'll try not to in the future.
