Yet again, it seems the more vocal of us have fallen prey to the nasty beast that is the English Language...But, I'm just glad it wasn't me this time.

ain't the english language grand? Question: are there words over where you are that aren't used over here? In simpler words, do you have ur own words?

Um... well, it's hard to think of things on the spot, since (like all places) we have phrases that are just 'normal' to us.
A few things that come to mind though are;
'Gapping it' = 'Running for it'
'Sweet as!' = 'Great!'
'Mates' = 'Friends' (not bf/gf)

it's come around to bite us all in the rear more than once.

sometimes it's just getting words mixed up.
for example, this phrase (the switch should be a little obvious) became a lot more dirty than its original intent.
"I'm in your popcorn's house, eating your girlfriend...oh wait."

And she comes bearing a whip and bricks to throw, should you mess up!
