I was babysitting my lil' sis' who is 9 going on 10. We did all kinds of sister things. Least of which being going to feed the ducks out by the lagoon.Turns out the tardbucket is afraid of waterfowl.
Can't imagine why, since they can't really hurt you! 
But yes, this comic is not actually exaggerating. She did climb up on my back to get away from the scary birds that bite legs off. And in a few years, she can look back on this comic, and cringe a little more at herself being fail like we all are at one point or another.

Man, I remember a similar time I was told about.
Ed saw a bird by my grandparents' vehicle and went after it, but then from underneath, a second bird came out and he retreated when he realized two little birds outnumbered him. The funny part? Ed is my grandparents' dog.

This may seem creepy, but they hurt me when I was around 5-6.
There was this goose my grandfather had, named "Lucy Goosey." I tried to pet it, and it pecked my finger 'til it was greenish. I have no idea how it'd turn green, but it did. It really hurt, and it did for the next few days.
Sadly, about a year or two later, she died. she wasn't bad, she just wanted attention.
It wasn't as bad as biting legs off, but...yeah.
