Description Well, I decided to get off my duff and post some pictures. +ewm decided to get the toads a new home for Christmas. We went out yesterday and bought a 40 gallon critter cage which is an aquarium with a screen lid. We got them a new "pond" that is big enough for all of them to get in it at the same time. Not too crazy about the color of the pond, but it's the only color it came in. Anyways, here is all three of them taking a soak in the new pond. In the front is Jaba the Hut, directly behind her is Doe and on the far right is the boy toad, Mr. Peepers. Of course +ewm is thinking ahead about just how many more toads we can get next spring since we have the bigger tank. LOL

The tan color of the pond matches their skin tone. Was the name Mr. Peepers taken from Mrs. Prendergast's cat from the movie Falling Down?

Thank you so much for the , I'm glad you liked the toadies! Actually Mr Peepers got his name because when you hold him in your hand and pet him, he makes his little peeping sounds. Jaba of course got her name from Star Wars. At the time we didn't know Jaba was a she, but the name stuck. Doe got her name because the black spot on her chest looks just like a deer hoof print. We have added a 4th toad since this picture was taken, another female. She was the smallest of the 4 but ate anything in sight, so I started calling her Toadzilla. She is now the biggest toad we have so she earned her name. LOL If you like the toads, you should check out my other pictures titled Toad'em Pole 1 and 2. They did this all by themselves and they are still my favorite pictures of them.

Great picture, color detail both excellent. They look like some very happy toads, but then they are always happy when their butts are wet.
