Here is another short tutorial I made. This one shows the basic components of a realistic human eye and of cartoon like eyes. This shows the eye in a front view, side view, and closed. I also put multiple examples of cartoon-like eyes and anime eyes so you can practice different types to figure out which suits you best. I hope this helps.
