half of you are crying and half of you are probably confused
I may have grown up with the first movie but Mewtwoβs Origin short before the movie was something I only recently came across and by god as if I already didnβt feel bad enough for Mewtwo ;-;

Itβs the beginning of the movie that was cut from the American release but can now be seen as a short, though he was born fully grown he still had to grow first and when he was small his consciousness started talking to the head scientistβs daughter whom they were trying to bring back as a clone, her name was Amber, or Ambertwo, but like the other clones she didnβt survive, he was the only one but he was so distressed when they all died the scientistβs wiped his memories of what happened only leaving him very emotionally unstable and not knowing whyΒ

Well the scientist was trying to bring Amber back to life since she had passed away, but yeah they were so bewildered that an emotionally unbalanced Mewtwo blew them all up when they treated him like a lab rat XDΒ

She's the deceased daughter of the scientist who cloned Mew. Along with Mewtwo and the starters, he was trying to make a clone of her daughter to get her back. All interacted with eachother in their minds while in their tubes, but only Mewtwo made it out of the experiment. :U
