Most people think that Papyrus is the only one who sees the good in everyone...But I see the same in Sans as well; the ability to look for hope, even if he can't maintain it himself...the chance to look, even if he can't find it...I like to picture Sans as a mastermind who set the events of the Pacifist Run in motion...a dangerous game...by giving the Last Fallen Human a chance.
