This time it was traced over this:so every time Lisa traces over something of mine, or even something of someone elses' from now on, Derp will return, I just find it feels good to be a little petty now XD and besides, if Derp came back every time the ripoff gets used alone, I wouldn't ever be drawing anything else lol

Really admirable way to respond to a continuing problem and getting a good laugh while you're at it. I don't like seeing cases of copying or stealing of other's work.
If it's a good time to ask, would it be considered copying if one were to try adopting a pose or art style of an artist? Not drawing the exact same thing, but like different people or themes.... I don't post much art myself, but don't want to end up accidentally hurting artists, or anyone.

it's fine when there is referencing without directly tracing, and the credit is given to the artist, and asking their permission is definitely a good idea, but in this case Lisa doesn't really understand the concept of referencing from stealing

Thank you so much for the clarification! I'll definitely make sure to note the original artist when I reference (learned new term, I feel so smart now xD) from their art, and I hope this person learns their lesson. I can't help but feel bad for them in a way though, that they think the only way they can get attention is by copying and stealing art.
