Just another update for those wondering.Kiara's Reign is still on hiatus. The motivation just isn't there, either because of al the theft or just the drive to finish Endertale is stronger.Β
on top of that I'm still figuring things out this fall. Come the end of September I might very well be inactive due to going the the Art Institute (at last!
) learning animation and 3D modelingΒ

Your going to ai?! I dont recommend it all the school is a scam! I had a summer school their, and they didnt teach anything they promised. And they been ripping off students making em pay for the whole schooling by taking away grants.

I'm sorry, but a lot of the schools in america are a scam. It's why i'm leaving to study in Canada and graduate in one year. I tend to do extensive research about each and every school and find students who had graduate from their. I'm sorry if I making you more upset about the school you have chosen.

Wait thats expensive to you?! thats cheap compared the u.s. ai which is 90,000 for four years! the american education for the arts is really expensive here... everything is 90,000+ american dollars, the film school is just 25,000 american dollars, 33,000 for Canadian money....Β

I gotta' ask, from one comic artist to another, how do you deal with people constantly asking you to finish the next page? x.x doesn't it kill motivation and make you feel pressured? I got that problem xC I had to block three people because they'd spam almost five comments every picture I'd upload asking me when the next page is. It just kinda ruins the fun for me, though perhaps I should stop feeling pressure and work on it only when I feel comfortable.
Either way I admire your resilience to carry on a comic : D its tough work!

Well there's a huge fan base behind this comic, right? Possibly someone
could just get links to all the thieves and mark them as the reason why
the comics not progressing(or just report them) so the thieves would be
forced to remove it or get into serious trouble from both copyright and
the fandom.
Usually I don't suggest getting fans in on this sort if thing but if this is
being stolen that often(or at all) I think it's okay for this certain situation.

We've been trying to do that for almost a year now, but unfortunately most of the people doing it have no regards for the artist or their fans. Some even say its a privilege to have your artwork stolen, and that its the artists fault for uploading it

I've heard that one before and actually one thing that minimizes
theft is watermarking it and putting the disclosure on the page
itself so if people see it uploaded that isn't by the same user or
website, they would know it's stolen.
But asides from that, the thieves want to see the comic continue,
right? So if the artist says they're not going to continue because
of said thieves, it would definitely motivate the fans to report each
stolen copy they find.
When the thieves are reported enoughΒ they'll be banned and since
facebook asks for phone numbers withΒ accounts, it'll be a serious
hassle for the thief to try and make anotherΒ account
Also another thing that can definitely help too is for the artist to make
a post of pointing out the thieves and providing instructions on how to
report both the stolen art and the user for all major websites that all the
thieves use.

This is great! I hate how people think stealing other people's art is okay. And it's happened to me. Granted, not nearly as much, but all the theft makes me hesitant to post TLK art if I do any. This is still fantastic and I will support you to the end!

Well I hope no one uses this picture. I am sorry about all the art theft and I am doing everything I can to try and fix it. I've gotten rid of some at least and I'm sorry that because of those idiots it's lessen your drive to do it. If you want to talk about it though let me know. I am sorry I can't help more though.
