Fufufufu... someday I will fly to Brazil and bring you home to Belgium. ^^ That way you may see Europe. Belgium is nice. Many cathedrals and rivers... we live on a small mountain that is covered in trees and forest. It is rather eerie at night though I must say with the bruised sunset and ghost-song noises that accompany the eve. Your uncle lives in Switzerland? Ouias! I wish to go to Switzerland I hear it is phenomenal! ... he brought chocolate?
When father went to Iraq (he was in the belgian army... gah... I worried for 18 MONTHS BECAUSE MY FATHER IS AN IDIOT! And decided to sign up just to go... grrr...) he brought back knives and flares and guns... he even set up a shooting range in the basement for practice (and he is trying to get me to train for the army gaah! Never never never shall I joing the army! o.o) ... end rant-session.

O.O' omg, you father is scary >.>" Firearms and stuff scare me (I like pistols, the old ones cuz It's beautiful, but I don't like firearms.)
Oh dear lord, mountains, rivers and cathedrals, what more I would dream for my life? You're so lucky. The europe scenaries are like a dreamland for me.

Indeed. Father is scary... especially when angered. I am to call him sir and salute. (Euh mon Dieu, my house is insane!) I like the design of old fashioned weapons and such but I prefer the swords and such they are lovely pretty. But the firearms are to scary! Expecially after seeing all the video footage father brought back from Bagdhad... ughh... *shiver*
Et oui! Mountains, rivers etc. etc. It is lovely! Although the people in the village below the mountain always tell me that my house is haunted and that we are known as the modern dracula family because it is so creepy... X3 thanks guys... What is Brazil like?

Brazil... Mhh, people outside think we are indians that live in a forest, and no, we aren't. >.>' I'm descendant for Portuguese/Italian people, here we have a LOT of diversity, the agriculture is what moves our wheels. We export a lot of food for the other countryes but here we still have a lot of poverty and ghettos. My city is surronded by mounts (not mountains), It has a lot of buildings and houses everywhere, troublesome transit, our railways aren't well devolved. There are some beautiful places, but you get tired of it if you live here. People here are nice with outsiders but tend to be mean with compatriotes. We have the highest rate of death by firearms, and the selling of it it's still legal. Brazil is hot hot hot, but since it's a big country there are a lot of diferent weathers here. The beaches are beautiful but I don't like it, I like to camp, even if I don't do it often, there are some pretty places to camp. Since it's tropical there are a lot of fauna/flora that there aren't at europe, maybe that's why people like here so much.

Euh! It sounds simply beautiful! I shall love to see it some day! I am mostly of French and Italian descent. There are mountains in belgium (not very big) but many manors and mansions... palace-like buildings and victorian styles. It is a very old-fashioned place with sophisticates and concert halls. (I had to sit through an ENTIRE Wagner Matinee... do not get me wrong I love the Wagner but it was LOOOONG and I am not allowed to make a sound X3) Firearms in Brazil? 0.o scary scary scary! There is no much threat in belgium other than the DARN ARMY! They are threatening a draft and they are getting involved with Iraq which is pretty scary and they usually draft family members *hides under the table*

._.' yeah, I see, well, our army isn't very strong, they actually can't control the violence in our own contry. T.T'
Well, I think you would like here, but it's not a place I would suggest to come >.>' especially Rio de Janeiro, don't go there, if you want a beach go to Bahia (not Salvador, it's very beautiful but people usually make the price of the stuff too high for outsiders.) And the south of the Brazil is very beautiful, it has some european influences (people there are mostly european descendants)

Romadiere In reply to Mila-Valentine [2006-03-16 18:44:13 +0000 UTC]
Our army is not very strong either since we are such a small country but we are very protected I guess... but I still think it FOOLISH that we are getting involved with the Iraq war! We are too weak to do much other than get our men killed! Insane! We have no violence in belgium, but like I said, with the whole war and such they are threatening draft and mother is scaring me with stories of Chenobyl... X3 I would love to visit Brazil. Do you like near Rio de Janeiro? I have heard of that but never seen or read anything about it.

Mila-Valentine In reply to Romadiere [2006-03-17 03:20:16 +0000 UTC]
No I don't. I live at a city called Belo Horizonte (in english it means Beautiful Horizon.) in Minas Gerais (the state) isn't near from Rio, well, it can be near if you take by my country's size, (this is my state, Minas Gerais -> [link] if you see it's size you'll notice it's a way bigger than Belgium itself.) It's a beautiful place, but no beaches XD. Rio de Janeiro is a state and the state's capital city, it's SE from my state (the little one at the bottom-right near it.) >.>' my city is one of the most important but it's not turistic at all, there's nothing much to see here, but I prefer my state over Rio.

Euh mon Dieu... even a state is bigger than belgium! X3 We are such a tiny little country... fufufufu. Father has been to Brazil before. But never taken us. I only have plants from Brazil... I think it funny we were speaking of belgium versus brazil and I went downstairs to water my plant and it said "imported from: Brazil" ... interesting.

Ohh, I'm not good with plants XD they don't like me, actually cuz I usually totally forget about them. Mhh, I don't remember the popular name for this one XD but I saw photos and it's very popular here in Brazil, I also think there were some growing in my yard

Haha... I am not very good with them but I try to be. *Is determined to become as good as Yuri* fufufu... I do not know why I always kill them. I water them with warm water, keep them in sun... put them outside on nice days... I even bought good soil for them. Meh. Apparenly I am better with animals than plants. X3 The camille in your yard you mean? I wish we had pretty plants in our yard. In belgium it is far to chilly for any good plants to grow for much of long. Fufu.
