FromAfter some consideration, I have now decided on what characters my avatar, Thomas Holmes II, takes inspiration from:
Doctor John Watson from Sherlock Holmes: as a chronicler of a good friend and companion from personal experience and the main narrator
Lemony Snicket from A Series of Unfortunate Events: wants to share the experiences of specific people with the general public, and has a love interest called Beatrice, and has bouts of depression
Frodo Baggins from Lord of the Rings: in addition to Elijah Wood being an ideal voice, Thomas is curious, kind and vulnerable
Harry Potter: Thomas was orphaned at the age of one, and Harry Potter was the inspiration behind Thomas wearing glasses
Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars: Thomas is peace-loving and pacifist in general, specialising in defence in combat
Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars: due to his traumatic experiences, Thomas has emotional stability issues; when pressed, he can fly into uncontrollable fits; and he has trouble accepting the idea of losing his loved ones
